👫💞 Trapped With My Sexytary Episode Eight:
I asked my secretary to send a memo to all shareholders, inviting them for a crucial meeting because I wanted to address some of the issues the information the documents she gave me on the day she resumed work with me raised, and I needed them to know that I was working on something.
She has so far been too efficient in the discharge of her duties to allow me do what I decided to do, after my legs carried me to her apartment, the very day she resumed work with us.
Miss Sasha asked for accommodation to be provided for her, because according to her, she had already vacated the official residence Namenda Holdings gave her, while she worked as their General Manager.
It wasn’t a big deal, since I have a new estate I recently commissioned and had chosen to make a staff quarter.
A few weeks before, I had actually moved in to one of the apartments because I was tired of seeing my step mother parade herself as my mother.
My father’s health has been a major concern to me, and I knew so well that one of his greatest challenges, was my relationship with his wife.
This made me force myself to keep up a cordial relationship with her in my father’s presence, when in fact, I felt like yanking her away from my father’s sides and house already.
I found out certain things about that woman, after she continued to plunder the affairs of Toshteck Limited, and it deepened the unspoken wàr between the two of us.
She knew my bottom line, and she was leveraging on the fact that my father had a condition tied to my actual succession of his wealth and estates, to make life unbearable for me.
On the day I made the discovery of her involvement with Namenda Holdings, I had confronted her with my evidences, and she simply laughed me off, stating in clear terms that I could do little or nothing to stop her, at the stage she has reached.
“I give it to you Allen, you’re smart. But you need more than just smartness to outdo someone that now has your father’s trust, love and confidence.
“I didn’t just arrive here to reap where I didn’t sow, like you have accusèd me Allen, I have worked to be here.
“I earned the trust and love of a man as shrewd and astute as your father, not because it was offered on a platter of gold Allen.
“Things like that are earned with scars to show for it. They are spoils of long bàttles, fought so fiercely and determinedly.
“They are things that require patience and perseverance. And I Julia, is one patient being, more patient than a vulture, waiting for a carcass.
“It’s time to get what is rightfully mine Allen, and at this stage, you must know that I’m no longer the train that just pulled out of the station.
“I have been moving so slowly, gathering momentum, and now, having accelerated to this level, you’ll have but two options.
“Get off my way and let me take what’s rightfully mine, or stay in my path, and get crushed” she told me in an outright and vicioûs dàre.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, I don’t care where you’re coming from, but I know you’ll go home with this in mind.
“Allen-Tosh is no fōōl. He wasn’t foòled for a moment by your deceptîve pleasantness from the day you appeared at that door, he isn’t foòled by your bluffs now, and would never bow to your empty threàts.
“It’ll also do you good to know that I will not let you succeed in this evïl mission of yours.
“This company is all that my father cares about, and if it’s the last thing I’ll do, I’ll have the glory of Toshteck Limited restored.
“Even in your dreams woman, do not imagine that you’ll ever be able to make the company leave the Tosh lineage and make my father feel as defeàted as you have planned.
“Toshteck Limited isn’t leaving my lineage, it didn’t leave before my generation, it won’t leave in my father’s, and would certainly not leave in mine!
“You succeeded in creeping into my father’s bed, and managed to have him incapacitated within a short while, but trust me Julia, you wont be able to do more, because you have dàred to show the ugly teeth you have so far concealed from my view with your deceptîve lips” I told her.
“I see! It’s so unfortunate Allen. You even address me by my name so brazenly, not caring waht I can do!” she told me.
“Oh please spare me the shìt! Should I have addressed you by a dog’s name?
“Quit playing around. I’m not going to let you have your way with Toshteck Limited, it won’t happen!
“Do the honourable thing now! You never expected to be found out, and I did find you out.
“Why don’t you surrender already? Focus on Namenda Holdings, where you already have a stronghold, and get the hêll out of my father’s life.
“Believe me Julia, you won’t like what you’ll get if you keep running on this wicked lane you have chosen to trot so màdly on, with such momentum” I told her, before I heard my father calling for her.
She gave a cold smile and walked a way, adjusting her clothes as she made to enter my father’s room.
That night, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life; I had to officially get engaged to Mirabel to enable my father allow me take over the reins of affairs in Toshteck Limited.
Julia nearly had a heart attàck when my father informed her that he had transferred his shàres to me after I got engaged to Mirabel.
She had banked on my decision never to marry Mirabel to assume that with time, she could get my father to hand her his shàres, because more than anyone else, she knew I couldn’t cope with Mirabel’s mental ability
But one has to make some sacrifices for some reasons, and I made up my mind to marry her the way she was, hoping that with time, she’d be able to get some sort of improvement.
But with Sasha coming into Toshteck and making me see in clear terms, how incompatible I am with Mirabel, it was becoming more choking to be around Mirabel.
I had taken a look at the speech and presentation Sasha prepared for me, and began to see more reasons to send her away if I needed to keep Toshteck Limited.
Yes! If I needed to be able to marry Mirabel and have her transfer the shàres in her possession to me, then I’ll need to send Sasha away, because the more she stayed around me, the more my resolve to marry Mirabel wavered.
I have tried so hard to keep her out of my mind, ensuring that I limited our physical contact, but it didn’t stop me from stopping by her apartment every night, to watch her from the windows, while she typed busily on her laptop.
She was too professional in her doings, and it made me more crãzy about her, but I knew we weren’t meant to be, because I had a singular mission, to make Julia fàil in her quest to take over Toshteck Limited!
As I walked towards the conference hall with Mirabel, she walked behind us, as a mere secretary, but her presence was way too overwhelming to ignore.
Mirabel had complained about her perfume, but her complaint kind of made me more conscious of the sedûctively mild but entrancing perfume.
“Welcome to this edition of our stake holders meeting, an impromptu one as a matter of fact.
“I’d like to appreciate you all for making out time to respond to this call, irrespective of the fact that virtually all of you are busy entrepreneurs with very tight schedules.
“The last time we met, it was to officially introduce me as the new CEO of this great organization.
“In my speech on that day, I promised to make a lot research and find out exactly where we got it wrong as an organization, and come back to you with my findings.
“It will interest you to know that after due consultations and enquiries, I have made some startling findings and discoveries that would make things begin to turn around in a very short while” I said, and the hall erupted with a loud ovation.
Mirabel looked up from the phone she had been playing with, when she heard people applaud me, and seemed confused.
Julia was looking at me with the kind of expression that says “You’re biting more than you can chew”, and I almost lost my ability to keep the laughter within.
When the clapping ended, Julia asked how I was going to address the issues, and why I wasn’t stating what the issues were.
Before I could even say a thing, Mirabel chose to speak for the first time.
When she signaled to be allowed to speak, I was afraid of the catastrophe that would follow, and yes, my Mirabel didn’t disappoint.
“I like your question madam. We should know what the issues are and how they are going to be resolved.
“But he has a secretary. Let her tell us what he has prepared to say. Or is she not supposed to know?” she asked.
My head was already bowed in shàme when I heard Mirabel, and I just didn’t know how to remedy the situation.
How could the second largest shareholder of a company, the supposed vice president, be so dûmb?
I was still lost in thought when I heard miss Sasha rise to the occasion.
“Good afternoon everyone. I know a lot of you would be surprised that the vice president has made such a request, mandating me to speak on behalf of my boss.
“But the truth is, by virtue of her relationship with the CEO, she is well aware that he has been working so hard to ensure that his dreams of restoring the glory of this organization isn’t just a wishful thinking.
“She is also aware that by virtue of my job, after my boss got all the materials he needed from his long hours of researches, I have gone through and prepared a blueprint of his action plans, for his proposed actions.
“While the answer to the question raised is so easy to tell, my boss had asked me to classify that document as confidential until he has rolled out the plans, to ensure he didn’t send the information and plans into the hands of competitors” she said so gracefully, undoubtedly speaking my mind, even though we really didn’t have a conversation about it, like she had said.
“I received the memo that informed the stakeholders of your employment, so I have taken time to look you up.
“How is an information that is supposedly confidential supposed to remain so, with one who used to work for one of our biggest rival, Namenda Holdings?” Julia asked her, making the other board members look at Sasha with disaffèction.
“It’s quite safe in my hands ma’am. Because unlike someone who owns a major percentage of shares in Namenda Holdings, I have no reason to wish that Namenda Holdings has access to our business secrets” I heard her tell Julia, and felt like giving her a big hug.
No, I made a mental note to give her a big hug, because by the time she finished talking, not only had she cleverly saved Mirabel’s àss, she had also made the shareholders see how valuable she was to us.
“I have always not bothered about the people the HR guys hire for this organization, but I’m confident that they couldn’t have done better with this employment” one of the active shareholders said, just before the meeting ended.
