π«π Trapped Part Seven:
I paced the parlor anxiously waiting for them to return home from the hospital.
Luckily for me Andre was at home and came downstairs when he heard Diane shouting and took her to the hospital, he didn’t even mind me as all he wanted to do was to make sure Diane was okay.
I sat on the chair as my legs suddenly grew weak at the sight of seeing Diane bleeding so profusely. I prayed that she didn’t loose the baby if not I’ll loose my peace of mind or life I’m return because Andre won’t treat me lightly.
The door opened immediately, I stood up immediately waiting for the worse. How long have I been thinking? I didn’t even hear the car drive in.
I heard heavy footsteps, before Andre could come into the parlor fully I was already running to my room. I didn’t know why but it was the only thing I could think off.
Andre ran after me and I knew my life was at stake. I ran faster. I entered my room and locked the door shut.
“Open this door if you don’t want my trouble open this door” Andre shouted angrily as he knocked on the door.
I leaned on the door with all my strength as if that would keep Andre from breaking the door and eventually kill me, which I’m sure he wants to do.
I couldn’t say anything, I was just crying, thinking of a way to escape. Why did I stay back after he took Diane to the hospital? I should have packed my things and ran away but my marriage, I need to save my marriage.
“Kate I’m warning you. I’m warning you now, respect yourself as open this door if you don’t want to die”
I needed to something other than leaning on the door and crying. I wiped the tears that blinded my vision and started moving my furnitures to wedge the door.
Just as I was about to use the dressing table to block the door. The door flew opened. Andre was bathed in sweat an anger.
“Please, please. It was a mistake” I pleaded with him as he came closer. His hands flew to neck and greeted me with heavy heavy slaps.
I became dizzy and my head felt bigger than my neck, before I knew what was happening, he threw me on the floor. My head hit the carpeted floor but it wasn’t enough to knock me unconscious.
I began crawling to the door, desperate for an escape but I was too slow and soon Andre dragged me back. The last thing I remember was him punching me in the stomach and banging my head on the wall.
The metallic taste of blood filled my mouth before it became blank.
