I was in the second semester of my 200 level in unical.
One afternoon I saw my dad’s missed call. Why is dad calling me? I asked myself.
Meanwhile my dad is not that kind of father that would call his children to check up on them, he only calls when there’s something important to tell me.

He ended the call. I was more confused than before, my head was full with so many questions because I wasn’t expecting any news from home.

Well it’s Friday already. I told my friends I needed to hurry to school so I will come back early to prepare for my trip back home.
I was excited and confused at the same time. Excited in the sense that I will see my mom and siblings because I’ve missed them already.
But confused about the good news dad was talking about.
When I got home, I got the shock of my life. I saw two of our elders, two other elders with strange faces, and two advanced men, not really old but advanced. My dad was there gisting and laughing with them
I greeted them, then rushed inside to see my mom and siblings and at the same time asked them what was happening
