π€· The Fallen Angel Chapter Four:
It was Sunday now. I had just returned from church when as if on cue, I heard a knock on the door. I asked whoever it was to come in. I was half surprised when my student showed up. This was the first time I was seeing her in another dress that was not her uniform. She looked really sexy and beautiful. In spite of the fact that I was very aware that she was otherwordly and a spirit, I still had bad thoughts running in my mind.
She walked in, gave me a little peck on my jaw and then got a seat for herself. I was still dumbfounded by her looks that I stood frozen for a moment until she spoke.
“Won’t you order something for your guest?” She asked.
“Oh!! My guest…yeah, welcome.” I stammered.
Ariel, for that was her name, smiled and asked me to relax.
“There is food in the kitchen. You can dish for yourself.” I said
“Oh, that is so romantic of you. You know how to treat a woman well.” She said, going into the kitchen.
After she had eaten, she sat down and we began watching TV. We talked while we watched.
“Do you have a boyfriend?’ I asked.
“Nope, how about you?” She asked.
“I have a fiancee, but she doesn’t live here.” I replied.
“Oh, she must be fortunate. You are a nice man.” She revealed.
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
“Have you ever dated your teacher before?” I asked.
“No.”
“Would you like to date me?” I asked. A question I would come to regret for the rest of my life.
“Yes.”
That response brought a whole new chapter to my life. From that day, my life was never the same. She told me things that scared the hell out of me. Even as I speak now, I still feel the chills. She told me she had once dated a married man. She had fallen so deeply in love with the man that she wasn’t prepared to let go. The man’s wife however, was a problem. She attacked her severally, both physically and verbally. Finally, she reached her breaking point. Her wizadry instincts were finally activated. She killed her.
I was shocked beyond words at what she said. I asked how how he killed her and she said she manipulated her into killing herself. She didn’t want to be suspected, so, she made the woman’s death to look like suicide. She said the woman woke up one morning and was complaining that someone in the well was calling her. Many times, she tried to get into the well but was stopped by neighbours. Finally, she waited when no one was around, walked to the well and jumped in. Her slippers were only found later by the well.
“Do you feel any pity when you do these things?” I asked her.
“I don’t feel pity. I have lost all hope of salvation. Someday, I will burn in hell for eternity, so I don’t feel pity for anyone.” She replied.
“What if you repent?” I asked.
“Repent?” She laughed out loud. “I can’t repent. I have been doomed. All I can do is plague mankind until the end of the world.”
“When will that be?” I asked.
“No one knows.” She replied. “Neither the angels in heaven nor the Son. It is only the Father who knows. It may be today, tomorrow, a year from now, a billion years from now. No one knows.”
“We, Christians know the Son is coming soon.” I said
“When is soon? A thousand years on earth feel like a day in the eyes of the Father. In heaven, time runs differently.” She lectured.
I was becoming more afraid now. She had excitedly revealed that she killed someone’s wife before. That meant my fiancee’s life could be at risk. I finally could realize the type of danger I was exposing myself to. I now fully understood the gravity of the situation. I made up my mind that I would stop all connections with her. I would seek for transfer and leave that school. I had to escape while there was still time.
But that was not to be. She seemed to have realized that I was getting wary of her and decided to act faster than me. She proposed that we made love. I would have loved to say no but decided to play along so that she could think everything was okay, while I plan my escape. I was wrong. The love making was a covenant I was going to enter into. From that moment onwards, I didn’t know what was happening to me. I was completely under her control and did only the things she wanted me to do. Then one day, my fiancee called that she was coming to spend sometime with me.
You can understand what my fiancee’s presence would mean. Poor girl. She had no idea I was dating a spirit. She was innocently walking into danger and had no way of knowing, I wanted to tell her but, how could I?
For starters, I would be reporting myself to her that I had been cheating. Also, I doubted she would ever believe the whole spirit story. I would have told her not to come but that will instead increase her suspicions. We hadn’t see each other for almost two months. What was I going to do? I was so much into Ariel, the fallen angel that I didn’t know what was happening to me. She had taken over my entire system with her magical sex. I prayed to the Father that things work out for me.
Deep in me, I wanted to stop everything with Ariel, but she seemed to have cast a spell on me. The more I saw her, the more I wanted to see her again. I was becoming completely obsessed with her and wanted to see her everyday. I knew it was dangerous but what could I do? I wondered how something so deadly could feel so right. My only worry now was my faincee. She would be coming in a few days and I didn’t know what lay in store for her.
