Sarah was taken to the room where the other people were,life inside there wasn’t easy
Her friends saw her being carried by the two muscled men and thrown to the floor and they left closing the door behind
The two girls whom she had first travelled with had run to help her,she was busy crying
“ Sarah what is it,why are you crying? ” Kate had asked but she didn’t reply and continued crying
The men went back wrapped Bill’s body in a white bag and carried it to the booth and drove off,they drove to a forest that was near the road and threw the body then disappeared before anyone could notice them
Sarah was still in sombre mood but she had managed to come down after the girls had comforted them,she then explained everything to them and how she had tried to escape and they just felt sorry for her but they couldn’t do anything but to comfort her
Sarah slept that day thinking of Bill and how she was going to escape from this prison and take revenge but obviously,there was no way she could escape unless God sends an angel right from heaven
The following day as usual they woke up very early in the morning, ready for the day’s activity
After they were done with the morning run as they were still having breakfast Mr Brad ordered Sarah to be taken to an isolated room and locked inside alone
She was still having a chat with her friends when two of Mr Brad’s men came looking for her and took her away as the girls watched
She was taken to the room and locked inside.The room was dark and only light from the small sized window could provide light to the room
She stayed there weeping and crying,moving from one corner to the other feeling disturbed,her mind couldn’t stop thinking about the events of yesternight,she could still see how Bill fell and hit the floor
At school that day,the two friends who used to walk together couldn’t be seen but people didn’t bother to care much since it was only a day
Sarah was left that day alone upto evening,she didn’t have lunch and stayed hungry because that was an order from the boss
At around seven in the evening as she was still seated at the corner of the room, shivering because of the cold the door was opened and Mr Brad and his most trusted man Sanchez stormed into the room
Sanchez was carrying a plate that had white rice and beans,he gave the food to the hungry girl who grabbed it and started eating with her dirty hands
“ I hope this will be a lesson for you,you will suffer and die here Sarah” Brad said before kicking the plate with the food and it scattered all over the dusty romm
Sanchez looked at her,he felt sorry for the poor girl but there was nothing he could do,he just watched how the girl struggled to pick the remains of the scattered food
Sanchez POV
How is biss so inhuman that he kicks the food for a girl who has not taken anything since morning,I must do something to help this girl
Sarah’s POV
Tables turn Brad,so this is how you can treat a girl.You are a coward and one day I will make sure you suffer as I am suffering,just wait and see
“ Sanchez let us go,leave this stupid girl to have her supper” he said laughing
Sanchez still stood staring at Sara for sometime,their eyes met and he could feel the pity he had for the girl,he then followed Mr Brad out of the room
“ Sir goodnight let us meet tomorrow” Sanchez had told the boss as he entered into his house
He then left Mr Brad’s compound and rushed to the kitchen,served a plate of rice and the beans and carried a glass of water then took the food to Sarah
He croched and gave Sarah the food and told her to stop eating the food that had scattered
“ I am sorry,I didn’t know boss can do such a thing, please eat to your fill” he said and went to peep to make sure that Mr Brad wasn’t around
Sarah ate the food until she felt that she was satisfied and Sanchez took the dish away.
