The first thing she did after processing the situation was to scream.
Bloody hell.
I slammed my hand over her mouth to keep her shouting and used my other hand to pin her to the bed. How come she was able to wake up? I’ve never heard or seen something like this happen before. I had to think fast and accurate.
“Will you shut up! Stop shouting” I told her harshly. Her muffled shout reduced, her eyes bulging with tears.
The easiest thing to do now was to do some memory wipe, you would think it was just a dream which is good enough for me but the problem was that I didn’t have the power to perform a memory wipe directly.
I used my knees to pin her down so I could release my left hand where my ring was. I was just about to speak into my ring when she pushed me off the bed with strength I didn’t recognize.
“Help!” She ran for the door but I was quick enough to hold her leg, as she struggled to go forward I dragged her down. She landed heavily on the ground, her body was still.
I stood up to inspect her body, blood was flowing from her head, at this point my heart was already pounding on realizing what I had done. The goddess wanted her soul initiated and not dead.
I bent down to confirm if she was dead, to my relief she was still breathing and there was nothing I could do as giving life is against my motto.
I left her limp body on the ground hoping that someone would find her quickly and rush her to the hospital, then if she recovered.
I’ll have to try again.
