π«π My Sugar Daddy And I Chapter Five:
It was Mr Atabong and I in a restaurant the restaurant last night. There was a Bold writing on it which read βMy sugar Daddy and I.β
βJesusβ I screamed as I threw her phone down.
βWho did this?β
” I didnβt quite see the sender but I think the person removed Their profile β
I quickly picked up the phone again in shock scrolling through it to see who could have done it but I couldnβt recognize the number so I dialed the number with my new Sim.
I heard a female voice behind and at the same time noticed it was Ashleyβ. I dropped and went through other groups and saw same images
What happened?, Ashley did this?β Marry asked
βYesβ nodded
βThat girl sheβs gat no atom of shame β
βHow can she even think of do something like that to you?”
βShe had asked me to help her get closer to Mr. Atabong but I refused.β I said sounding really defeated.
Mary prepared and we went to school.
I knew I was going to be the topic of that day but I really didnβt care.
Nothing scare me unless it was my brother Hillary. I knew he loved me but I knew he was very strict and some times exaggerated his concern.
Indeed they say fake news spread like wildfire. In as much as I hadnβt the urge to go to school, I still had to study and even if I decided not to one day I will and theyβll still mock at me so I Brace myself to face the odds that day. Little did I know it was more than I could take.
When we arrive our faculty block I could read from many students facial gestures that they had seen the picture. I just didnβt care what they thought about me after all I wasnβt guilty. When I reached Class, all the students were already in class and lectures were ongoing.
Students made site comments and mockeries, others laughing. The Lecturer didnβt bother talking about me he just shun them off.
After he had gone the mockeries increased as,
Guys who had asked me out made fun of me and laughing, I still didnβt care that was what I was expecting.
Yes I was expecting all this but what I wasnβt expecting was that it will reach the Deanβs office.
David came with Dismissal letter later in the day at about 1:00 pm and handed it to me. I didnβt quite understand so I asked,
“Whatβs this David?”
“Itβs a letter dear in as much as I know that thereβs nothing going on between you and Mr. Atabong, I canβt do anything”
βI tried explaining to her but she said the problem is not you and Mr Atabong , but the reputation of the school which she wasnβt ready to jeopardize.β
“But how did it reach the Deanβ Marry asked
βYour name is all over the blocks online as one of those students promoting immorality in the University.β
I took his phone went through it
“But I havenβt done anything wrong why does the world hates me this much?” I bust into tears as I hurried myself out of the campus
I knew my brotherwill definitely never believe nor trust my own side of the story. I went home picked my stuff and went to my grandmaβs place.
Just as I arrived there a call came in from Joseph but I didnβt answer because I probably understood he had seen the picture online.
My grandma was old and could possibly do nothing to stop him from beating me so I thought of going to my friendβs place Mary but again thatβs the first place he will go looking for me if he didnβt fine me home. I hadnβt given them my new number to anyone except Mary so theyβll probably go to Maryβs place to get it.
I called a female friend of mine Darrel to help accommodate me for the mean time and he accepted.
βThanks very much Darrel indeed your Gods sentβ I said
βItβs nothing Bri β
βBut tell me what happened β
βI mean amongst all the guys who had been asking you out why did You choose such an old man?β
βAre you really okay?β
βWhy would you ask me such a stupid questionβ I said becoming really pissed.
βWhat part of thatβs not the real story do you guys not understand.?”
“Common girl chill. It was just a question β
βOk okay youβre not going out with himβ
βYes I am notβ
βBut then how do you feel about himβ
β Nothingβ
βNothing?β He asked
βThe picture says a lot. Looks like you guys were having a moment. Look how close you guys were?β
βTo me it looked like a romantic kiss was about to followβ
βDo you know why am here??β I asked
βWell yeah. Because your running away from your Brotherβ
βWrong!!! I am simply looking for somewhere to cold my head.β
β Somewhere that no one will remind me of the problems I am going through, but you know what I made a big mistake coming here.β
I Said and storm out of his house.
well I regretted Once I was in the streets.
I called Mary and asked about my brothers and she told me they had come just as I expected to look for me at about 4:30.
It was becoming cold and darkness had already announcing itself as I walked through the streets.
So many things were going on in my head.
A thought of committing suicide came to my head. I mean I felt like the Universe was against my existence from birth till that time. My father hated me, my brothers who were my back up they could never believe me in things like that. I felt like my mum would have been the only one that would have loved and taken care of me but she had was already on the other side. My only option was to go meet her now
I stood by the road side waiting for the perfect car to run into and it finally came. I ran forward as quickly as possible and unfortunately for me the driver was Swifter than me. He immediately held his brakes. I fell down and became unconscious due to the car’s shock. The man hurriedly came out of the car, carried me and placed in his car
When I woke up, I was alone in the hospital Bed. I remembered everything but the driver who had hit me.
I looked around to see if I could see something of his but to no avail After 30minuites of gaining consciousness and patiently waiting to see who had brought me there, Mr Atabong Pierre step in and I felt like digging a grave and throwing myself in it. It looked like I wasnβt going anywhere after all, my problems had no intentions of letting me go.
