Lucy Situation had grown worse by the time they got into the hospital.She was shedding tears while screaming like a baby
“God my stomach!! My belly! My baby!” she continues to shout and the two women help her into the hospital
Sandra pretended to rush in and called the nurses who came running.Lucy was laid onto the bed and the nurses pushed the bed into the emergency ward
Sandra and the women wanted to follow her but they were told to stay behind before they were notified when they were going to see her
She removes her phone from her pocket and makes a call to her husband
It was in the afternoon and Damian was still in his office and it was very unusual for any of the wives calling while he was still at work,anyway he decided to pick the phone call
“Hello babe,we just had an emergency,please rush to the hospital right away” Sandra says while breathing heavily as the two women kept staring at her
“Hello what do you mean you had an emergency,what is wrong baby?” he asks, looking scared
“Lucy just experienced labour pains” she replies
“But she still has one month to go” he says waiting for a reply, “Hello! Hello!” he says then checks the phone and realizes that Sandra has ended the call
Feeling scared,he storms out of his office and runs to his boss to seek for permission to leave work early since an emergency had just occurred at home
Damian used to work at a wholesale that sales construction materials and he was the supervisor of the wholesale
Mr Williams, the boss gave him the permission to leave and appointed someone to supervise the stuff who were working there
He immediately stopped a taxi that was passing by
“Excuse me sir,where may I take you to?” The taxi man asks
“Please sir drive as fast as possible to Kakuma Hospital,I have an emergency” he tells the taxi guy who starts the engine and drives off faster.
The hospital is the only hospital that is near where they live and therefore he knows that the wife must have been rushed there
Shila was at home alone when she too started to feel pains in her stomach,at first the stomachache was just normal but it continued to pain her
She wants to help herself but the pain becomes too unbearable that she can’t even stand and she starts crying for help but no one was around to help her. Everyone had gone to the hospital
She was busy screaming but as loud as she could scream none of the neighbours could hear her
The screams however reached Sam who had been gone for a while now and bearing in mind that Shila was her real daughter,she had to do something to help her
Sam’s spirit entered one of Shila’s cousin body and controlled her.He didn’t want to scare his daughter so he entered Beatrice’s body and made her take the medicine that would make her pains fade away
The girl ran as fast as possible not knowing why she was running and why she was holding a bottle of medicine in her hands.She got there after some few minutes and found Shila lying on the sofa
She had lost a lot of energy but she helped her sit down and made her drink the medicine and immediately the pain she had been feeling went away.
“Thank you Beatrice for saving my life,my pain has now faded” Shila tells her cousin who keeps smiling at her
Sam’s spirit leaves the girl and disappears.
“What am I doing here” Beatrice asks Shila
Shila doesn’t understand what has just happened to her cousin but offers to escort her out and they leave the house together
“I bet that woman has already lost the child and am sure that stupid girl back at home is crying now to be saved,who is laughing now” Sandra who is seated outside thinks while smiling
Just then the taxi drops Damian at the hospital gate and he goes in running,he finds Sandra waiting outside a wooden bench next to the receptionist.The two ladies who helped her had gone back home.
