🙎 Mummy Please Don’t Kill Me EPISODE FIVE: 🥲
“No, na, do not do this to me. Jewel, do not die on me.” I cried as I held her in my arms.
“God, where are you, and why am I being treated like this? Why does life seem so cruel? Bring back my angle for me. I started crying.
“You will not be at peace until you come to Makaka’s shrine and sacrifice your daughter, for her soul has already been claimed by the great mother; come to Makaka! Come to Makaka. Come offer her to the gods.” A loud voice echoed through the room.
“Leave my child alone and take me instead.” I screamed in rage.
But no answer seems to come through.
I teared up as I looked at my daughter’s body.
I held her in my hands and looked up to heaven, saying, “I am sorry God, I know I have wronged you, but please save my child,” as tears welled up in my eyes.
I stood up from the ground and carried Jewel’s body, using the wrapper to support her.
And I headed outside with one destination in mind: my pastor’s house.
I know he is a powerful man of God who can help me get out of this situation.
But I immediately took my feet outside.
I was surprised to see the same women from my dream.
They have one horn each clothed in white garment with cane in their hands.
“You think you are smart, right? Let me sound this to you no man can save you from the wrath of Makaka. Your soul belongs to makaka.” One of the ladies spoke.
“My soul belongs to God Almighty, not some mortal gods,” I responded.
“Oh! Really? You know your soul belongs to God, and you came to seek wealth from Makaka, that means your God is weak and does not care about his servant.” She spoke in a mocking tone, while the other ladies laughed aloud.
I ignored them and chose to walk past them.
“Give us the body of that child,” she demanded, pointing at it.
“No, I will not.” I responded.
She moved closer to me and attempted to remove Jewel’s body from my back. But I pushed her with my entire strength. Making her eyeballs turn red like a burning flame.
She hit me with a small rod, and I was struck by lightning. I fell to the ground, I saw Jewel’s body going towards them. “Give me back my child,” I cried faintly, feeling pains all over my body and passing out.
I appeared inside the shrine.
Together with the ladies. One of them carried Jewel’s body.
I saw Jewel standing beside a shadowy figure.
But she was not dead; she was standing on her feet. I looked over to the ladies one more time and saw her body with them. I was perplexed as to why Jewel suddenly became two.
“Mummy” She called out and started running towards me, but was stopped by the shadowy figure.
I looked around and saw Victoria and some other ladies seated on the floor, wearing a white material tied above their breasts and ending beneath their feet.
They were sitting on the floor with their legs folded together.
A small câsket was placed in the centre of the room.
“Welcome Patricia” A voice resounded all around.
I was given a knïfe to stâb Jewel’s body, which was now placed in the casket.
But I refused. The more I refused, the harder I was whîpped, and I felt a forçe pushing me toward the casket.
“Mummy, no!” I could hear Jewel’s soul talking.
I was directly in front of Jewel’s body. I raised the knîfe above my head.
“Mummy, please do not k!ll me.” I could hear Jewel’s soul sobbing..
I got to know that it was jewel’s soul that was standing and talking to me while her body was lying cold in the cašket.
I never wanted to do it but the force was controlling me.
“Do it and don’t hesitate” I heard a voice. Which I couldn’t tell who owns it.
The force was pulling my hands down to stāb her. I was fighting hard, resisting the urge to stâb Jewel’s body. The force outweighed me. As I watched the knîfe slowly descend on Jewel’s body, tears streamed down my cheeks and I silently prayed to God for help.
But then something unimaginable happened taking everyone aback.
