The next day I woke up feeling better than the previous day.
I was admitted in the same hospital as Priscilla.
Olivia, my father and my new mother, Leah were in the room and they appear excited seeing me awake.
Olivia came to sit close to me in the hospital bed all smiles.
“I thought I lost you my love, I am sorry about how I reacted to the whole thing at first. It was too childish of me to behave that way.
Please find a place in your heart to forgive me, Dennis.”
I felt a little burden lifted off my shoulder. God knows how much I have been praying to have my Olivia back but right now I was not in a hurry to accept her apology and jump into her arms.
I want to make sure she goes through the same emotional torment I went through when she called off the relationship.
“Where is your mother, how is she?” I asked, acting like I did not hear all she said.
My parents were standing behind her holding each other romantically.
My father looks so happy and his face brighten up like never before.
He found his peace of mind so why won’t he shine?
Love is a beautiful thing when you find a beautiful soul to merge with your own beautiful soul.
This kind of love makes you glow differently.
My father so much loved Leah. And that’s how I intend to love my Olivia till death do us apart.
“My mother is responding to treatment. But that part of her body where she was shot will not function anymore.”
Olivia appeared sad.
“I’m sorry about everything that happened to your mother, Olivia.” My father cut in.
“Thank you sir. It’s not anyone’s fault. It’s her decision.”
Olivia turned to me.
“I know you’re still mad at me and you’re right to be but don’t forget I still love you, Dennis.” Olivia said gently as she stood up and left the ward.
My parents moved closer.
“Dennis, that girl really loves you. Please find a place in your heart to forgive her errors.
She’s human and acted in her human feelings.”Leah took my left hand in hers as she spoke.
“I love her more, mum. But I need to get out of here first before I know what to say.”
“Dennis, think deep and make the right decision.” My father added.
“How about Priscilla, how about my mother? What is their current condition?”
My father exhaled and put his two hands on his wife’s shoulder as he was standing behind her.
“Priscilla survived the storm. Your mother survived too but currently in jail awaiting the jury’s verdicts.
Sad thing now is, Priscilla’s adoptive parents have refused to let her go.
They threatened to sue us to court and Priscilla said she’s not ready to connect with us.
She despise us. She’s not happy to know we’re her parents at all.
And she’s not ready to forgive us.”
Leah had tears dropping out of her eyes as my father spoke.
“She told me to my face that I am the worst mother ever! She hates me Dennis.” Leah wept.
Priscilla has been through a lot too. Surviving the emotional trauma of repeatedly being raped and sleeping outside in the market when her father is a billionaire is really heartbreaking.
She has the right to be angry. I don’t blame her at all but and we can’t blame our parents either.
Leah was battling for her life when she was taken out of the hospital. Her father was forced to believe she died two days after birth.
We can’t blame our parents. The only person to blame here is my incredible mother.
“I understand how you feel mother, but we can’t blame Priscilla for acting that way.
Priscilla is hurt. Priscilla is broken.
I remember the first day I saw her at the park, she was looking so sick and hungry.
Sitting on that wet cold floor,
thankhe memories are traumatizing.
But I will talk to her once I get back on my feet.”
“It breaks my heart so much that my daughter refused to hear me out. I was depressed for years thinking about her on that wheelchair.
I never left her. I planned a good life for my child. We planned well for her…” Leah cried out.
My father robbed her shoulder trying to console her.
“Don’t worry mother.
Just allow her to heal.
Things will settle.”
Five days days later, I was discharged from the hospital and my family and I began the process of the court case on my mother.
My God, I hate the fact that I had to set my eyes on her each time we went to the police station.
Priscilla was still angry and had securities around her to keep us away from her.
On the forth day after I was discharged from the hospital, Olivia visited me at home to apologise again.
I was in my room trying to communicate with Priscilla’s family when Olivia walked into the room.
“I am sorry for not knocking. I was afraid you won’t let me in.” She looked down shyly, fiddling a White handkerchief.
“What are you doing here?” I feigned anger as I stood up from the bed.
“I am here to say I am sorry, please.”
“Olivia, I have another woman in my life so you need to leave right away.” I lied, trying to get her reaction.
She came close to me and peered into my eyes.
“Why are you lying to me?” She asked as tears ran down her cheek.
“Why should I lie to you?”
“Cause you want to hurt me like I did to you.” She hugged me passionately and cried on my chest.
I couldn’t pretend anymore. I hugged her back and kissed her hair.
“Short girl, I really miss you.” I teased her.
She looked at me and smiled.
“You know I’m not short, you’re just taller naw.”
We both burst into laughter.
It’s been long I laughed this good.
“And about Priscilla, I really want you all to give her sometime to think for herself, heal properly before anything else.
She’s not ready to listen to anyone but I’ll try my best to talk to her.”
“Thank you so much Olivia. You’ve really done a lot for this family.
I really appreciate you for everything.”
She smiled and nodded like a baby, “You’re welcome my baby Dennis.”
I pulled her closer and put my two hands on her butt cheek and slowly planted a kiss on her lips but she quickly pushed me away.
“What are you doing?”
She looked at me from my head to my toes, astound.
“Have you given your life to Christ now?” I laughed at her.
“What do you mean?” She put her hands around her chest.
“You don’t run away from romance.”
Since I have known Olivia, she can never say NO to romance even if she’s sick.
Know matter how weak she is, she’s always ready and available.
“You still have a bandage on. And you’re on medication. Where will you get the energy for sex?”
“Stop thinking for me, Olivia?”
“Are you in or not?”
She smiled broadly, revealing her beautiful white dentition.
Before I could take a step closer to her, she began unzipping her gown.
“I can help…”
I teased her.
She let her gown dropped to the floor, revealing her succulent bosom with her mind-blowing shape in a G-string pants but she still restricted me from touching her.
“Where did you keep the engagement ring?”
She asked, putting up a sad look.
I wasn’t expecting that question at all. This young lady was already standing naked before me and my whole body was already vibrating to devour.
And here she’s asking me for an engagement ring I don’t know where I kept.
Women are really dramatic o. Same person that threw away our engagement ring is now asking for it in the middle of this furnace feeling?
“Babe can you stop? I don’t know where I left it. I could buy another one and propose again, please.” I pleaded.
“Well….I don’t know where I kept my Vee baby as well… So until you buy another ring like that one, don’t touch me o.”
She bent over to pull her gown to dress up but I quickly stopped her and started looking for the ring.
I saw it in a dresser close to my bed and to be honest, I can’t tell you how joyous I felt that night.
I went on my knees with my bulge in my pants and proposed to her again.
This lady still did their normal women drama by waiting for three minutes before saying yes.
That three minutes felt like forever as my whole body was bur-ning to fulfill it desire.
Women! Women! That gender is designed to be extremely dramatic.
But with them, life sweet o
