The student could see the rows of empty seats in the auditorium, waiting to be filled by the other auditioners. The stage was lit up brightly, and there was a sense of anticipation in the air. The student’s footsteps echoed on the wooden floor as they walked up to the front of the stage. The audition panel was seated at a table, looking serious and focused. The student took another deep breath and tried to stay confident as they faced the panel.
The dance teacher, Miss anita, was sitting in the middle of the panel, , with a serious expression on her face. The music teacher, Mrs. Carter, was sitting to her left. She was a kind-looking woman, but also very focused and attentive. The principal, Ms. Davis, was sitting to Miss Anita’s right. She had a stern expression, and was carefully watching the stage.
Miss Anita cleared her throat and addressed the student. “We have over a hundred students auditioning today,” she said, “but only thirty of them will be given admission. So we’re looking for the very best performers, and we hope you will do your best.” The student nodded, feeling both nervous and excited. Mrs. Carter smiled encouragingly, and Ms. Davis looked on with a serious expression. It was time to start the audition.
