I was done doing some research on my laptop.
I put the system aside took my phone and wanted calling Lucas. It’s almost sundown and he wasn’t home yet.
I was about dilling his line when a call came through.
It was the number from earlier. I slide up to the answer button.
📞 Hello Angel! What’s keeping you? I want you to be back home by tomorrow morning for a family meeting.”Dad shouted at the other end.

He walked towards my frowning.
“Are you alright? Have you been crying? Who dare made you cry?” He asked with a twisted eyebrows and a hardened facials.
“Am alright Lucas! Where the hell have you been all evening?” I asked neglecting his worried gaze.
But he Instantly gathered me in his hands, holding me close to his chest, like a mother holding her newborn baby closed to her heart.
“Dont you dare lie to me baby! Who made you cry?” He asked in Stern but yet gentle voice.
“Uhmmm! I was just worried about you.” I half lied, but somehow it’s the truth. A wicked smirk crawl to his lips.
“If so, am here now! Do whatever you pleases with me.” He uttererd putting me on the bed. When instantly we heard a knock on the door.
“Boss! Sorry to disturb, but you need to see this!” one of his men uttered from the door.
“I will be back baby!” He uttered pecking my forehead. Immediately he Left I collapsed on the bed and drift off to sleep.
