πͺ Living With My Extended Family Episode Nine:
He didn’t even add money to buy bread for my younger ones.
I entered the house with zero naira zero kobo nothing nothing to show for.
My mom saw my body and started crying asking herself what she had done to her brother to treat me that way. Meanwhile my uncle was busy deceiving my mom all this while by telling her I was in school.
My mom had to hide me in the house and feed me for one month before an outsider was allowed to see me, upon that people were still asking if I was sick.
I was so ashamed of myself.
The News got to one of my senior cousin who lived in the city as well and he asked my mom to send me to him.
Under three months of living with this my cousin, my body had jacked back to life and he gave me a receptionist work. It wasn’t up to a year in his house when I met and got married to my husband who is everything I could ever think of to me.
And so my husband sponsored my education. I am now a mother of two and a staff nurse.
As for my uncle and his wife, I have forgiven them, after all God has blessed me on every side. I heard my uncle felt sick a year after I left his house and that led to them loosing all the had and returning to square zero, I also heard that the children have dropped out of school and are now hustling on the street to survive.
And my aunty is busy telling people that her husband’s family has forgotten them because her husband is sick. π³
Anyways, I thank God I am not part of her husband’s family π
Meanwhile one of this days I will create a chance to visit my uncle and see if there is anyway I can be of help to him and their children, even if is to register the children in school, those children don’t deserve to suffer that way.
THE END…!!!
To you my readers, there is nothing you have today that wasn’t giving to you by God, so treat others right because nobody knows tomorrow.
Thank you for reading. I love you π₯°
