πͺ Living With My Extended Family Episode Eight:
Beating me over every little mistake I mean removing my clothes and giving me a flesh to flesh beating not minding my age.
And so this beautiful afternoon, after working and working all through the day to meet up with my aunty’s time, I was five minutes late when I got to her shop to deliver her launch, not knowing she was furiously waiting with her friend to disgrace me in public as usual for coming late.
Unfortunately for her it wasn’t a good day at all.
As soon as she saw me coming, she stood up and started walking towards me outside, all I heard was: what were you doing since morning? as if she didn’t remember the load of work she kept for me in the house,
before I could say jark she had land me a heavy slap
I stood there thinking about all the shame and humiliation I went through since she was married into that house, I didn’t know when I landed her a resounding slap and it turned into fight
I beat this woman black and blue pouring all my frustration on her, in the course of our fight she fell into gutter and some of her neighbors started screaming saying house help beating madam while some helped her out of the mud.
Meanwhile I had returned to the house to back my belongings because I knew when my uncle came back he was going to bury me alive.
I used the last money in my hands to buy sniper incase my uncle touched me, I would just drink the poison and my blood would be in their hands.
When my uncle came back, I was already sitting outside with my bags. As soon as he came out of the car I was already with my bags telling him I wanted to go, when they realized that I wasn’t joking because I had threatened them that if they don’t returned me that night I would drink the poison before morning.
My uncle started begging me to wait till morning.
So early morning the following day my uncle gave me only my transport fare to return to my widow mother, after serving them for seven years, hard labor for that matter.
