Somehow in my heart,I was scared of the whole thing, would mother be able to achieve this,how would she go about it,I mean considering it’s been almost 10years she left secondary school…
She soon registered for JAMB classes,in a hereby lecture house,she didn’t mind her age,been among the oldest of the class,she bought necessary books and she was studying so hard,indeed never understand estimate the power of a determined woman.
Mother even served as a motivation to Sammy and I, as she’s studying,we are studying ours too, especially me,I was marvelled at my mother’s determination, and I wanted to be like her,which was impacting in my studies positively…
After months of studying so hard and have written the exams,the results were finally out.
Mother had gone out to check her score,I, grandma and grandpa were so tensed,we prayed sincerely, hoping mother made the average mark,as we didn’t want all her efforts to go to waste…
But when she returned in a few hours,we needed not asking,as her facial expression had given us the answer we wanted.
