🧡 THE TRANSPLANT
The glass entrance doors of the hospital swinged open, revealing Lucian as he stormed in yelling. Hope carried in a bridal position on his arms.
“Help! Help!” His loud voice ripped into the air and it got everyone’s attention.
Immediately, the nurses came rushing in with a wheel bed and laid her onto it.
The doctor rushed in.
“What happened?” Everything seems to be happening so fast – Hope’s face covered with an oxygen mask.
“It’s a long story” Lucian said. His voice trembling and scared.
The wheel chair was pushed into the theater for immediate check up.
Lucian and the others – Jane, his mother and his father all looking worried sick and sad.

“The Job is done” Raphael said to the woman on the phone.
“But the bomb caught her instead” he added.
“Sounds better” the woman said.
“I’ll send you the money now” she said, further and his phone beeped – he tucks the phone off his ear and looked into the screen.

“Seen” he smirked and the call disconnected as the woman hung up.
“Boys! The money has been sent” he informed and they were all excited.
“Whoo!” They all chorus in a loud exciting tone.

The doctor walked out of the Theater and immediately Lucian saw him coming he stood up as well as the others.
“Please tell me she’s fine” Lucian’s voice trembled and the doctor sighed.
The doctor had no idea on how to break out the news he had, be it good or bad.
“Doctor. Is she fine?”
“Tell me she’s fine, please”
“Talk to us!”
They all rushed him and the expression on his face says it all.
“She lost a kidney” the doctor said so sad and pity.
Hearing this, their eyes froze and Lucian could feel the walls of love coming down – his heart skipped a beat.
“You’re joking right?” He said, hetc chuckled in doubt and not believing what he heard.
The doctor let’s out a lungfull of air and then repeated it again.
“She lost a kidney” Lucian was stunned.
“But how?” Jane asked in confusion and the doctor looked at her.
“Right now she’s suffering a severe internal bleeding and if we don’t get her a kidney transplant soon, she’ll also loose the weak kidney and then I’m afraid she might die” the doctor explained briefly making it all clear.
” Please sir, do as fast as possible to get her a healthy kidney transplant. She’s not much time left. Please excuse me.” the doctor excused himself out and Lucian frustratedly clenched his fist on the walls.
“No!!!” He ripped out in anger and all the attendants and patient looked at him. He gritted in agony, pain and anger – his heart was like a dynamite exploding inside of him.
For christ sake Hope’s father haven’t even heard of the incident.
HOURS LATER~
It’s already midnight and they still haven’t gotten any idea of getting a new kidney. Finding a kidney is a long process and buying one was even a more longer process and she might have given up the ghost before the procedures of buying a kidney ends.
They all sat at the hospital smock – Waiters chair.
Lucian sat there, ratcheting every possible means of saving the one true person he fell in love with – he can’t loose her.
“I can’t just seat back and watch the one true person I fell in love with die” Lucian said as he stood up and all llama eyes fixed at him, wondering what his point may be.
“I’m given out one of my kidneys to her” he said.
They were stunned hearing his point and his mother stood up.
“Are you crazy?” She asked in anger and Jane was desperate to know why her mom ask such question.
“You can’t do that, you’re the only son I have”
“And she’s the only daughter of her father and also the only one I want to spend my whole life with” Lucian stood his ground.
Mrs Aurora’s eyes welled up in tears.
“What if it didn’t work out well?” She asked.
He moved close and held her hands. She looked down at their hands then back at his face.
“It will” he said, his voice filled with emotions.
“As long as love stands for us” tears rolled down his cheek.
Just like a saint, the doctor approached them.
“Any lucks?” The doctor asked and Lucian glanced at his mom – she smiled thinly and he looked back at the doctor.
“I’m donating mine to her” he said and the Doctor was surprised – his sacrificing one of his kidney for a girl.
“Are you sure about this?” The doctor asked and he glanced at Jane before looking back at the doctor.
“If that’s the only thing that brings her back,then yes” he replied and the doctor smiled.
“Come with me then” the doctor said, walking away and Lucian followed.
Mrs Aurora sobbed stiffly and Jane pats her back.
“They will be fine” Jane muttered.
THEATER – OPERATION ROOM.
The lights are dimmed blue and a group of both doctors and nurses surrounding Lucian and Hope – the bed they laid on was set close to each other.
“This will hurt only for a while then you’ll go to a deep sleep” one of the surgeons said, holding up a syringe and Lucian nodded stiffly.
His hands reached hers as the syringe piered it way into his skin – he winced, feeling dizzy as his sight became distorted and the voice of the surgeons and nurses became distorted in his ears.
His eyes closedo and he went into a deep subconscious sleep.
“I love you forever”
“No one can separate the bond between us”
“I saw that you were perfect and so I loved you”
This words flowed into his subconscious mind.
He opened his eyes only to find himself in a whole different place filled with colorful butterflies, green latent grasses and the delicate light of the bright sun.
He was lying on the grass and his eyes saw Hope standing, her handsister stretching out for his.
“Hope?” He muttered as he stood up.
They were separated.
She stood 3feets away from him but her part were getting dark while his was lighted.
“Save me, please” the embers in her eyes said even more than words.
He reached his hands to hold hers but some kind of force field was stopping them.
Whenever his hands are almost close to hers a spark push them apart.
“Lucian, help” her soft voice said.
“I’m trying but I can’t” he replied and the darkness in her part was swallowing her gradually.
“You’re stopping yourself from helping me.” She said.
“How?!” He asked, confused.
“I’m in your heart and in there, is getting darkened. In reality you’re dieing.
“Hid heart are failing!” One of the surgeons shouted and there was a slight commotion and confusing filling the air and it was affecting them.
“We can’t loose him, we can’t loose them!”
One of the nurse brought in a machine specialised only for starting up a failing heart. They used it to jump start Lucian’s heartbeat and it wasn’t working.
“Lucian, help us” Hope’s voice pleaded.
Images of the fun times they had together came flashing back into his head and his heart was responding with his brain, not just his brain but Hope’s images in it.
Her part bagan to brighten up – so bright that it blinded them both.
EKG returns to its normal readings of Both Hope and Lucian’s heartbeat – the transplant was a success.
