Hailey’s eyes gazed at Hope as she stood up. She looked at Lucian and Hope looked at Lucian with no idea of what was going on or who she was.
“Who’s she?” Hope muttered -her eyes on Lucian.
“I’m his Ex-girlfriend” Hailey replied her and Hope’s eyes glances at her face.
“Why are you here?” He asked. “Ain’t you supposed to be with your boyfriend?” He gave a cold stare.
“Don’t even think about it” he warned coldly as Hailey made to come closer but stopped.
“I’m really sorry,Lucian” she pleaded. “I was deceived” she said further. She stood 3feets away from him and Hope stood behind him – she was confused on what to say.
“Well… it’s over now” Lucian held Hope’s hands from behind – Hailey gazed behind and was speechless when she saw him hold her hands.
“Is she the one?” She asked. “Your new girlfriend?”
“Not just a girlfriend but my wife to be” Lucian glances at Hope’s face and she smiled.
His reply felt like a sledgehammer in her chest – she couldn’t believe what he just said.
“And you should leave now” he said in cold stare. “You’re interrupting a wonderful moment for us here” he added and her eyes was watery. She was almost at the point of crying.
“Okay” she muttered with a wide fake smile on her lips. Once more she looked at Hope before turning to leave.
She left and the glass doors closes.
Hailey entered her car in anger. “Let me guess,he has a new girlfriend?” Her partner in crime asked. His name is Joel.
“She thinks she can just take him away from me. Not when I’m still alive. He’s mine even if I have to kill her.” Hailey said darkly.
“And If I can’t have him, then I’ll have to kill them both” she declared with a dark skeptical smile and Joel smiled darkly before driving away.
“I’m sorry for what just happened” Lucian apologized. He caress her hand.
“You should have told me about her” Hope pressed. “Your ex” she added and Lucian Sighed.
“I didn’t want to talk about her” he said coldly. Talking about Hailey could only bring out his bad side and cause him pain and anger.
“Well… tell me what happened between you two” Hope requested and he thought for a moment before he began to speak.
“We loved and cherish each other until she dumped me for my best friend,Jackson” he explained to her.
“And that’s all I can remember of her” he said coldly and her soft hands embraced his making him look deep into her eyes.
“I’m never leaving you” she muttered and he smiled.
“No matter what happens we will keep loving each other” he replied and they kissed again.
