Lucian cleared his throat and thoughts for a moment,then he began to speak. “I’ve been thinking about out first meeting” he said.
“How we bumped into each other at the hallway and the coffee on your hands spilled on my shirt. I remember feeling embarrassed but also intrigued. Aside the way I reacted,there was something about you that drew me in. I know it sounds crazy,but I think we were meant to meet” Hope listened intently,her eyes never leaving his face. “What about you?” He asked. “What have you been thinking about?”
Hope took a deep breath and looked into Lucian’s eyes. “I’ve been thinking about the future” she said. “And how I want to spend it with you. I know it’s crazy,we’ve only just met but I have the feeling that we’re meant to be together. It’s like we’ve known each other for years,even though it’s only been a few days.” She paused,as if gathering her thoughts,then she continued.
“I know it’s probably too soon to say this, but I feel like I’m falling in love with you. I’ve never felt this way before but it’s both exciting and terrifying. But I can’t deny the way I feel. I know it’s crazy, but I just had to tell you.” Lucian was stunned. He hadn’t expected her to say such a thing, but he felt the same way.
“I feel the same way” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. “I feel like I’ve known you forever”
“I feel like I can be myself with you, like I don’t have to pretend to be someone else. It’s like you see the real me and you accept me for who I am. And I feel the same way for you.i accept you just as you are, with all your quirks and flaws. I don’t want you to change a thing” Hope’s eyes welled up with tears. She reached across the table and took his hands in hers.
“Thank you” she said. Her voice trembling. “Thank you for understanding me” he chuckled softly.
“I should be thanking you,Hope. For bringing light into my heart” she chuckled and he wiped her tears with his hands. His hands caressing her soft cheek and both head coming closer and closer. Their eyes almost at the point of shutting and then his phone rang.
“Oh” he sighed almost frustrated as both eyes opened up glaring at each other. She watched him slide out his phone and then slides it back into his jean pocket after he looked into it.
“Who’s it?” Hope asked a little curious and he sighed.
“It’s Jane. Please let’s forget about her for now” he said with a seductive smile and she chuckled softly.
His seductive eyes tearing into hers – triggering her soul to love and want him. He leans in for a kiss. They kissed in a slow motioned perceptive – his tasty lips,she craved for and she kissed back.
In a smirk they broke the kiss and then slowly opened their eyes as it glared into each others.
“Was that your first kiss?” He asked. His voice barely above a whisper.
“Yeah” she chuckled softly.
Her lips was so tempting and he was already craving for more.
“That’s… that’s the best kiss I can ever get” he muttered and she chuckled.
“So…” she smirked. “Was this a date or…?”
He smiled thinly. “What does it look like to you?”
“A date of course” she said and they both chuckled softly.
This moment tugs at their heartstring. It’s so sweet and romantic. The vulnerability and honesty between them was so moving.
Just immediately someone pushed the entrance glass doors and walked in and next her eyes dropped at the table where Lucian and Hope was.
“Lucian?”
She called his name and he turned his head to where the voice came from only to see it was his ex – Hailey.
