I watched one of my neighbors break down in tears one bright morning, the intensity of her tears touched me to the bone marrow that i couldn’t help but feel her pain and when I would get to know the reason behind her tears, I was told that her partner of five years broke up with her the previous night. He made it known to her that he could no longer love her as a man should love his woman.
The lady in question was so heartbroken, she claimed she had invested so much in the relationship, was it money? Sex? Time? Energy? She gave the relationship her all only for the guy to wake up one day to tell her that he was no longer interested in her.

Break up is one common sickness or should I say situation among the unmarried as there is a way it demoralizes you. But then, there are things we need to understand.
Most times, God might be behind a breakup to bring His son or daughter back to Himself or out of a wrong relationship. Some breakups are blessings in disguise but most times, we fail to see it that way as we’ve probably been consumed by the overwhelming love we have for that person.
When you experience a breakup, the next thing isn’t to jump into another relationship. You need to calm down, go to God in prayers to know the reason for the break up then ask Him to heal you. Jumping into another relationship almost immediately will never help you heal rather, it will hide the wound which might be dangerous in the long run.
Also, don’t go into a relationship that God didn’t approve of because if you do, you will come back with severe injuries. Even if you think you heard God give you the go-ahead, still spend time to seek His face to be very sure to avoid stories that touch the heart.
Lastly, ensure your relationship is free from pre-marital sex. When you haven’t bonded with him or her through sexual intercourse, it will be easy to let go and find healing but when you are so much in that person, suicide may be the next option as the devil will so much exaggerate the issue and make it look like you can’t survive without that person. I ask God to minister and heal every broken heart in Jesus’ name.
