Lothaire sat on the edge of the bed, and massaged his forehead.
It’s been a years since he started getting this blur image of a lady in his dream. No matter how hard he tries to decipher who it is, it’s just not forth coming.
He stared at Crystal sleeping beside him, and smiled. She has been his light in the darkness. He could remember how they first met, two years ago were she stopped his carriage and said she was hungry. At that time, she had touched his hand and was like ‘so you are the ice Prince ‘. Her expression was particularly cute.
Lothaire stood up, and walked to the balcony there he saw the two clear figures of Lothana and Heaven. The name Heaven reminds him of everything good. To be frank he was jealous of that name. It would have been better if it was crystal that answered it.
Seeing the happy figure of his daughter and Heaven made his smile.
Crystal gritted her teeth as she saw the expression on his face. She stared daggers at Heaven, before hugging Lothaire and sniffing his enticing scent.
Lothaire felt that arms around him, and smiled. “you’re awake”. He muttered in a hoarse voice.
“Uh-huh and I’m hungry”. Crystal said.
“Hm. Why don’t you relax and I’ll go get something for you to eat”? Lothaire said absentmindedly as his eyes constantly drifted to Heaven who was soaked by Lothana and looked so appetizing.
“Okay”. Crystal nodded. She didn’t notice the change in him.
Crystal walked to the garden, and sat on the recliner and took a nap outdoor while basking in the evening sun.
Lothana frowned as she watch the figure sitting on her mother’s favourite chair which was specially imported from India, by her papa.
“Isn’t her hair too long”? She smiled mischievously and clicked the scissors in her hand. She looked left and right before walking silently behind Crystal.
Heaven on the other hand, after playing with her daughter, busied herself in the kitchen, preparing food for everyone.
‘of course when she said everyone, she meant her and her daughter. Aunt Emily went to visit her family and won’t come back until a month later’.
“Why are you preparing so little food”? Lothaire asked as he walked in.
Heaven gave him a side glance and looked away. “That’s because I have a small family “. She replied without staring at him.
“Does that also include the man that came earlier”? Lothaire scoffed. The image of his daughter smiling at that man, egged him.
“Well yeah
He is the man after all. And a man is also the head of the family”. Heaven stared at Lothaire closely, waiting to see even an iota of jealousy. But she was soon disappointed as Lothaire only stared at her in disinterest.
“Alright then you can tell me when you’re done cooking. I’ll make my own food”. Lothaire said and was about to walk away, but was stopped by Heaven.
“There are two stoves in the store over there. You can bring them out and use it if you want”. She said indifferently.
” Oh thanks”! Lothaire walked to the direction she pointed, and brought out the stove.
Soon enough, different aromas enveloped the whole kitchen.
Lothana who just came in, ran into the kitchen with her little legs.
“Wow Mama what are you preparing”? She stretched her neck and raised her leg up to look into the pot, but her head couldn’t even reach the kitchen Island.
When Heaven saw this, she laughed. She picked her daughter, and placed her on the Island, far from the stove.
Lothana stared at the meat, and swallowed a mouth full of saliva.
Lothaire chuckled. “If you want some, you can take it or come take from mine”. He said to the salivating lothana.
“Hmph”… What do you know? Mama say it’s rude to take some when the food is not yet served”. Lothana snorted.
Lothaire raised an eyebrow, and stared at Heaven as if to seek confirmation, to which Heaven nodded.
Watching her movements, he felt some familiarity with it. Maybe it’s because they had been together before.
But if they loved each other why didn’t he feel any special bond with her even if it’s little? This question has been piquing him.

Very quickly, dinner was set and just when Heaven and her “family” were about to eat, a shrill scream rang out from the garden.
“That little b*tch”! Heavy footsteps could be heard as Crystal marched to the dining area.
Lothana shrank back when she saw the scary looking Crystal. “Ouch… I didn’t know it would look this bad”. She muttered but her words got to Heaven who was beside her.
Heaven but her lips, to stop herself from laughing.
When Crystal saw Lothaire, she quickly put on a wronged look.
Lothaire on the other hand was stunned speechless. But seeing the tears stuck in Crystal’s eyes, his expression became cold.
Heaven shivered, as the first layer of her skin formed a thin frost.
” How dare you”? Lothaire asked in Γ€nger.
Lothana released a soothing temperature. ” I dare do anything as it is my father’s palace after all”. She snorted.
Heaven stared at her daughter with wide eyes. Remind her how old the girl is again?
Lothaire had a look of interest as he stared at Lothana. He felt the frigid air she sent to him and the soothing air that enveloped Heaven. As expected of his daughter. He smiled proudly.
” Apologize “. Lothaire said. Although he was proud, this is his beloved woman that was treated like this by his daughter.
Lothana had a stubborn look on her face. She had no plan of apologizing.
“Apologize Lothana”! Heaven spoke sternly. She knew the kind of person her sister is and didn’t want her daughter to get involved.
“I- I’m sorry”. Lothana gritted her teeth, and apologized.
“Crystal felt like she just ate sh” t. How can sorry repair that damage the little b”tch caused?
Lothaire walked to her pulled her to sit beside him, while he dishes out a portion of good for her. His hand stopped mod air when he saw Heaven’s hurt expression, but he overlooked it and continued what he was doing.

Dinner for Heaven was the worst she has ever had in her life. After cleaning the plates, she left the building and wandered into the woods.
There is a hidden pool in the midst of beautiful flowers and she loves soaking there.
Knowing fully well that no one would come, Heaven undressed herself, and dived into the pool. The pool was a little warm due to the sun earlier.
Lothaire stared at Crystal intensely, making her nervous. In Lothaire’s memory, she is a vΔ«rgin but crystal knows that she is far from being a vΔ«rgin.
He has been wanting to do ‘it’ with her, but she hasn’t let him because she didn’t want to find out how he would react to that.
Lothaire who saw that she wasn’t willing, sighed and walked out. The seΓy image of Heaven in wet and transcalent clothes, egged on his mind and he felt extremely hot.
He wandered into the woods to clear his head, but ended up seeing something else. His eyes rested on the beautiful image of Heaven bathing in the pool. He suddenly didn’t know how to react.

At that point, Heaven suddenly turned around, and jumped in fright. When she saw that it was Lothaire, she calmed down a bit.
Looking at the familiar expression on his face, Heaven suddenly felt like they have gone back to two years ago that any little actions of her can turn him on.
Lothaire swallowed cold air. He was sure that this image will take him days to get over.
A thought suddenly flashed in his mind.
“I’ve already made it clear that I don’t love you. Why go through so much effort to make me fall for you…”
Heaven almost exploded in Γ’nger when she heard him.
“Who do you think you are? I never knew you had such a dirty character in you. To tell you the truth, more than trying to gat your attention, I despise you.” Heaven angrily swam out of the pool but remembering that she had nothing on, she grabbed her cloth, and ran into the woods.
Lothaire chuckled, but her word struck him hard. He walked back to the room, and met Crystal sleeping.
For the first time, he didn’t feel like sleeping with her….
