π€· Her Kind Of Faith:
My school was on break, so I decided to spend time with my aunt and her family since I have a good relationship with her. One particular evening, my aunt and I were playing WHOT when her husband walked in dejectedly, he had just lost his job and couldn’t think of how he would his family would survive with the current economic situation of the country.
I became sad the moment I heard that he had lost his job, that meant I wouldn’t be able to get the twenty thousand naira which he promised to give to me the day I would be leaving.
But then, his wife’s actions and faith shook me. She simply smiled and said her husband wasn’t jobless because that was what she believed and for three days, she kept confessing that her husband wasn’t jobless. Surprisingly, her husband was called back to work on the third day after being apologized to, he was then promoted with a salary increase. #fiction#
If there is one thing we need to always do in these times we’ve found ourselves, it is to hold on to God. Yes, a lot is happening but then, we have a God Who wouldn’t let His children suffer provided they are true to Him.
I know you are going through a lot which is already breaking you but, can you trust God? Can you rely on Him to come through for you? Can you throw away that suicidal thought and lean on Him for help in this time?
Do you know the sweetest part, God never fails, we just need to trust Him and watch Him do what He specializes in and that is coming through for His beloved even at die minute. Dear beloved of God, Your Heavenly Father hasn’t forgotten you, He is planning something huge for you but you just need to trust Him and wait patiently for Him. He will never fail you, that I am sure of so, keep holding on to Him, you will laugh last.
Thanks for reading through,
