We disengaged from the hug as the door opened.
Stella’s expression immediately changed as she stared at the man.
“Dad.” Stella called out loudly surprise written all over her face.
“Stella. How…What are you doing here.” The man asked also surprised.
” How did you know I was here.” Stella asked.
For the matter not to get more worse I spoke up instead.
“He was the one who saved me.” I said.
“What!. Really.” Stella asked with a confused look still boldly written on her face.
“I can’t believe am seeing you again. After all this years.” Her dad said.
“After you ΔbΓ ndΓΈnΔd me and mum right. You still felt comfortable living your life.” Fresh tears were dropping from her eyes now.
“I didn’t mean to she pushed me to do it.”
“That’s a lie! It’s a relief she still lives comfortably without you.” Stella said.
“You know I still love you. I have searched for you but couldn’t get to you. I asked your mum about your location but she wouldn’t tell me.”
“The last three months now. She blocked my line. Am really sorry about what I did to you two. I have come to Lagos to look for her, but luckily I have found you. Pls I want to make up for my mistakes.” Her dad lamented and poured out his heart to his daughter.
I just watched the whole scene keeping quiet. They were both feeling really emotional.
“I miss you dad.” Stella said finally after some minutes of silence and hugged her dad.
“I miss you too sweetheart.” Her dad also said and I could see tears drop from his eyes. From his look one could tell he was truly sorry for his deeds.
After the reconciliation between father and daughter they finally realized I was still in the room.
Her father asked me if I was feeling okay. I responded in the positive. The doctor later came in and did the final check on me and discharged me.
Before we got to Stella’s house we reached my apartment and I got the bag I wanted to get the previous night.
Stella dad carried us in his car to Stella’s apartment. He was impressed at how beautiful it was.
When Stella was making lunch because it was noon at that time. He asked me series of question. I didn’t want him to know I was dating his daughter but he found out.
Stella dished the food. I was so hungry as I haven’t eaten since morning. I devoured the food like an hungry lion.
I later got to know Stella dad’s name was Stanley. All of them just has a nice name. Father and daughter were lost in there conversation and discussing how to fix things in their family.
It’s half past four and she’s still talking with her dad. Has she totally forgotten about me. I was now feeling jealous. We haven’t have the time to talk since we returned from the hospital.
Later in the evening her dad left promising to see her again. Stella gave him her mother’s location. And wished they were finally going to be together.
I was happy immediately he left but feigned anger as I approached Stella.
“You just forgot about me right.” I said.
“Why are you acting like a child. I didn’t it’s the first time in the last five years of seeing my dad so I have to spend quality time with him.” She explained.
“Oh. Am sorry.” I apologized.
“By the way…” Stella didn’t complete her words as she licked her lips.
The way she did it turned me on.
“What do you want to say.” I asked.
“Ola I need you.” She said.
“I… I don’t understand. You know am always here for you.” I said confused.
She came closer to me and pushed me on the chair.
She leaned so closely to me that I could feel her bre**t resting comfortably on my chest.
