“Ola. Let’s talk about what happened yesterday.” Stella said her voice sounding as sweet as always.
“Okay.” I said.
“Uhmm…” She looked at me. With the way she looked at me she didn’t know how to start what she wanted to say so I decided to say something.
“I’m sorr…” I wanted to apologize but Stella interuppted me.
“Is that what you are really going to say. Sorry?.”
I sighed as I made eye contact with her.
“Okay. I like you. I mean I love you Stella. I don’t know it happened, but it did and now am falling head over heels for you.”
“I know you are older than me. But it doesn’t matter right. That’s how I feel towards you; that’s why I couldn’t resist kissing you. So if you feel the same way I want to know.”
“But if you don’t. Then let’s remain friends and forget about what happened yesterday never remember it ever happened.” I poured out my thoughts with sincerity and boldness in me. It was a feeling I haven’t felt before.
I turned to leave when she called back.
“Wait.”
I stopped and turned. “I feel the same way too.” She said.
“I wasn’t so sure first and I didn’t want to make a føøl of myself. I couldn’t believe I was falling for a boy I am older than.”
“I so much tried to get rid of the feelings; but they never left. I love you too.” She declared her love.
I could feel butterflies in my bellie. No lady has ever said that to me except my mum. I just kept staring at her with mixed feelings, that of excitement and anxiousness.
She came close to me and she dwelled her lips on mine. The kiss was different from the first one we had. It was slow and so intense driving me crazy.
I began moving my hand around her hair holding on to it tightly. She roamed her hands on my chest also.
A knock on the door brought us back from our fantasy.
The door opened and Cynthia popped her head and asked.
“Aren’t you guys done. We’ll be late for church.”
“We are done.” We both said.
I straightened my clothes and we all left for church.
When the church service ended. Cynthia said she has to get home as she has to work somethings out. While me and Stella took our time.
We went to a restaurant. Serving as our first date.
I couldn’t still believe this was happening to me. My first date ever with a girl.
I never thought I would ever have a girlfriend with how shy I was. But here I am staring at this beautiful Angel that has captured my heart.
“What would you like Ola.” She asked me
“Anything would be okay.” I smiled.
Stella was the one paying the bills she took that upon herself.
The food was ordered to us and we began eating.
“I would like you to tell me more about yourself, siblings and your parents.” I asked.
“Well. I don’t have much to say about myself. I’m Stella, you know that already. Am 20 years and I work in a restaurant.”
“Are you done with your studies.” I asked curiously
“Yeah. Am done; I started early and finished early.”
“Wow!. Nice.”
“I have two siblings. One of them which you’ve met already and a brother.”
“You have a brother.”
“Yes, I do.”
“Well that’s great.” I said
We talked and talked and we laughed. The conversation led to different discussions which was fun.
We got home around 6:00pm in the evening. Cynthia had already prepared dinner. But I wasn’t hungry as I had eaten already.
Stella went in took her bath and changed into her së”xy night gown. I also took my bath and changed into my baggy top and trousers.
I met Stella at the balcony of the house. I stood beside her and we both gazed at the beautiful night sky.
“Hey love birds.” Cynthia called appearing with a cup of tea in her hands.
