My blood boiled in anger as I stared at the bastard that I didn’t ever think I’ll see.

I chuckled mockingly as I watched Kaden withdraw his hand and put it inside his trouser pocket.

“Who invited you here Kaden?” I asked, trying not to sound so pissed off and there by, letting loose my anger.

“I invited myself since my d@mned twin brother didn’t see it as a good thing to invite me.” He smirked and shrugged.

“You have to leave here!” I ordered sternly.

“But I don’t want to. I’m enjoying this grand birthday and I don’t think I’d want to leave now. And besides, I just got here.” He pouted, but I could tell he was doing it on purpose to anger me more.

She scoffed and placed her hand on her forehead.

“Have you being stulking me?” I gritted my teeth in anger.

“You know what? Let’s talk outside. It might get really bad talking to you here, because it’s taking my whole lot of patient not to punch you right in that mouth of yours and I don’t want people giving me that look.

I walked away and he trailed behind me. Chloe darted her eyes from him and then back at him.
She rolled her eyes and walked away.

When we got outside, I noticed two huge guys on black suits. They are heavily built and they wore dark shades.

I looked closely at them and I noticed they were keeping an eye on kaden.

“Those are my bodyguards.” He said, as if he could read my thought.

I rolled my eyes and turned to face him.

“Now a**h0le, what are you doing here?” I asked, giving him one of my death glare.

He gave me a cheeky grin and stared up like he’s in deep thoughts, but I know he’s making fun of me.

“Well…” He smirked and licked his lips.

“I came to make her my woman. Beautiful Chloe.” He said nonchalantly.

That moment, I didn’t know how it happened but my fist found its way to his face.

He groaned and spat out blood. He wiped the blood of his lips with his finger, staring daggers at me.

The two bodyguards tried to come closer to us but Kaden gestured for them not to come closer.

“Oh! You’re so protective of her, aren’t you?” He drawled to his own amusement.

“Don’t you dare!” I growled at him.

He groaned and staggered backwards a little. He spat out blood and grinned mockingly.

He snickered and rolled his eyes.

He struggled free and also punched me hard on my jaw.

We were almost into a big fight until his bodyguards came and pulled me away from me.
He grinned and spat out blood, panting heavily.
He wiped the bloodstains on his lips and glared at me.

One of the bodyguards held me while the other held him.

“Let go of me!” I rasped and pulled out from his grip.

“Just go, I don’t want to see you here!” I ordered with my fingers pointed out at him.

He arranged his suit properly and stood up straight.

“This isn’t over Kian, I’m gonna have Chloe!” He laughed and walked away with his bodyguards behind him.

I fisted my hand in a tight ball and walked towards the house.

I got in and surprisingly, I saw Chloe standing behind the door, like she’s been waiting for me.

“We need to talk.” She said and walked towards the direction of the stairs.

Without saying anything, I followed her like an obedient puppy.

We got to the balcony and she turned to look at me.

“Kian?” She called. And just my name she called has so many questions in it.

I sighed softly as I watched her walk away without even sparing me a side glance.
