Tracy tried to move her hand, just to see if she could help herself, but like before, her hands were still immobile, as were her legs.
Ozonge noticed her struggles and began to laugh jocosely, looking at the way she struggled, yet body part could move.
“Don’t sweat it pretty one. Your body is pinned to the ground, with this” he said, pointing at a piece of iron having some bells tied to it’s top, and some red pieces of clothes tied to the bells.
“You won’t be able to move any part of your body until I pull it out from the ground. This is my sacred staff of office, a symbol of my authority, and the only connection between my words and their effects.
“As long as I have it pinned to the ground after I made the incantations to make you stay where I want, you won’t be able to make any moves, even if a thousand soldiers appeared here to take you away.
“I am the only one who can make any part of your body I wish to move to do so. You can’t even raise your butts, even if you wanted to.
“But that won’t be a problem because whether you move or not, I’ll be able to take you as many times as I have to, and stop, when the urge for you goes away, an indication that the seed has been planted.
“I am only going to tell you the story behind our cursè, to ensure that you do not act like your mother.
“I am very sure that when you fully understand that as long as your daughter gets deflowered and impregnated by my son when the time comes, she will be able to live without worries, you won’t let your child suffer as much as your mother had made you suffer” he said, and saw Tracy grimace.
“A very long time ago, two friends were said to be so close that they were seen everywhere together, and known to be literally inseparable.
“One was called Uloma, and the other was called Onyema.
“They were both said to be very beautiful in their own light, but one had fleets of suitors flocking around her, while the other, had just a man she loved so much.
“Onyema had troubles dealing with the fact that the multitude of men that were after her, didn’t please her eyes like the man Uloma had.
“She made different attempts to get Ojadike, Uloma’s finacée to pay her attention, but the man was not interested in her.
“Ojadike tried to warn Uloma about her friend, but she kept laughing it off, telling him that he must have mistaken her care for him as her friend’s man, to be interested in him.
“The two lovers soon decided to add a ring to their love, but it didn’t sit well with Onyema who had been chasing suitors away, with the hopes that she would sēduce Ojadike someday, and get pregnant for him.
“She began to seek ways to stop the marriage from holding, and in the end, she met with the then chief priest of Ozonge shrine, my ancestor, and got a charm to disrupt the màrriage.
“The chief priest knew it was against his calling to do the great abomination he was asked to do, but Onyema had offered her body as a price, and he couldn’t resist the charms of the most sought after maiden at the time, the fact that he was already married with a son, notwithstanding.
“I was told he had her for seven market days, before he gave her the charm that would make any man she touches with it, make love to Uloma, no matter where they were, as long as she had fed Uloma some herbs he gave her.
“Onyema chose to be extra wicked and used the charm on Uloma and her brother, making the two siblings commit incest on the morning of her marriage right in her presence, and she ran to call Ojadike to see what was going on.
“Ojadike stabbed Uloma’s brother to deãth instantly, and aimed to kïll Uloma as well in the fury that consumed him, when he met the two siblings rowing like pôrn stars noton set.
“Uloma escaped by a hair’s breadth, calling for help as she ran, until some able bodied men were able to hold Ojadike down.
“Of course, the marriage didn’t hold again, with Ojadike getting thrown in the king’s jail, awaiting trial for kïlling Uloma’s brother, the community’s wàr lord.
“During trial, Ojadike refused to speak about the sacrilege Uloma committed because he knew it would amount to a deãth sentence for Uloma.
“And since he killed someone as important as the wàr lord, he already knew he was going to dië, so he chose to keep what happened to himself, and save Uloma from dying as well.
“But Onyema wasn’t done! She wanted Uloma gone forever because she felt she was going to come after her.
“Onyema stepped up, and told the king what her friend did with her brother, and how she wasn’t ready to keep such sacrilegious act hidden forever.
“Uloma was sentenced to dië in the most agonizing way, because according to the king, she had caused the dêath of two able bodied men in the community.
“She was tied and left to die of starvation in the êvïl forest, where she lay crying, singing and cûrsing Onyema as the beãsts of the forest devoured her bit by bit.
“Her head was severed by the beãsts that fought each other for her body parts, making it roll on the forest ground as they chased it
“It is believed that after she finally dīed, her spirit chose to tôrment Onyema, until she dīed, leaving behind a daughter without a known father.
“Onyema’s daughter, a child she conceived from the ten days she spent with the Chief priest, inherited the cursè, and was tôrmented until she went to the new chief priest, the former chief priest’s son, and by implication, her half brother.
“The chief priest consulted the gods and was told about the cursè, and how that he was as a matter of compulsion going to have to impregnate her, to be able to keep her from hearing the voices.
“Onyema’s daughter was despêrate, and was ready to do anything to keep her from hearing the melodies that nearly made he lose her mind.
“She spent some nights with the chief priest, and her misery seemed to have ended, because with the seed planted in her, the voice ceased to tròuble her.
“The generations that followed had to continue with the ritual, and with time, the chief priest had to make some laws to ensure that the secret didn’t get to anyone.
“And this is why, no one dares to visit the shrine, while the cleansing is ongoing.
“And so from generation to generation, everyone of Onyema’s descendant had a chance to have but one child, who had to be a female.
“The Ozonge lineage became intertwined with Onyema’s, having to mate with their sisters and continue the cursè, in the process of cleansing.
“And this cleansing has come to be the only way Uloma’s voice is silenced, and the descendant of Onyema and Ozonge, allowed to live on.
“Before I diè, my son gets to be told everything I have told you, and aside him, and the daughter that I must now plant in you, I am not allowed to have another child.
“On your own part, you will only be able to give birth to this girl, but as has always happened with others, your husband will never get to know that the child isn’t his, and will only be compelled to get another wife, to bear him sons.
“Your daughter will live like a normal child until I die, and my son takes over from me.
“And by the way the gods arranged it, I can’t dië until the girl is old enough to be made a woman, and there is someone already on standby, to be assumed as the father of the child she will conceive from the copulation with my son.
“So you see, this didn’t start with us, and it won’t end with us.
“It is a pattern that has always been, and will always be, because Uloma’s voice will remain till the end of time” he told her, finishing his tales.
“But why do we have to keep paying for the terrible sîns is someone else?
“You have so much powers, and have the ability to do a lot of things, why don’t you use your powers to save us?
“Why would someone of your abilities and powers be made to bow to the dictates of the spirits when it is not favourable to you?” Tracy asked Ozonge, making him fall into a fit of laughter.
“And who told you it isn’t favourable to me? Who on earth would call having to be with a beauty like you an unfavourable situation?” Ozonge asked her, licking his lips làsciviously.
“Are you insàne? Didn’t you just say that we are siblings? How are you able to still find me sëxually attractive, when you already know that we are blōõd related?” Tracy asked him, nearly throwing up as she saw him get up to display his front tail that was fully charged and throbbing.
“Did you miss when I said a man had to marry the woman to make the child his?
“We are not siblings because even if my father is biologically responsible for the pregnancy that brought you to life, your mother was married by someone else, a man who paid her bride price fully.
“Or are you a stranger to our custom that makes the man who married the woman the true owner of her children?
“I believe I have done enough talking, and have to do what I have to do now” Ozonge said, and jumped on top of her.
Tears began to flow from the two corners of Tracy’s eyes as she lay helplessly on the mat, while Ozonge resumed touching her sènsitive body parts.
She began to feel his phàllus pushing the entrance of her gateway to bliss and shut her eyes in pàins, letting out a loud yell of sorrow.
The chief priest froze suddenly, neither touching or moving again, just lying on top of her like an inanimate object.
Tracy’s eyes flew open on their own, and a loud scream of panic escaped her throàt, nearly defeaning her when her brain sent interpretation for the impulses her eyes sent
