👫 Cacophonous Melody Episode Fifty One: 💞
Samantha and Drake decided to have their honeymoon, in a hotel, not too far from Drake’s house and were all shades of happy, as they checked in for their proposed to weeks long honeymoon
Their wedding had been very eventful, with people trooping from far and wide, to witness a man brazenly wed another, on the day he was to wed a woman he had already married traditionally.
Samantha cared less that Bruce was conspicuously absent at Drake’s wedding, an indication of the fact that things had fallen apart for the friends, and she obviously didn’t give a hoot that people made faces when she passed by them.
She started off with the passionate and sensational honeymoon with her newly wedded husband, spending most of the days going from one fancy love nest to another cozy restaurant, on a very happy note.
Their nights of passion seemed endless, with Drake feeling so good that he was so sure he hadn’t made any mistakes, choosing to pitch his tent with Samantha.
He could be up and about, humping and humming all night long, and still go crãzy, seeing her náked the next morning, her full bōõbs, always drowning him.
Things were actually so good between them that Samantha would have most certainly not wish for someone else for a husband, if Drake didn’t start to get cranky with her.
In the midst of all the hot sessions of lòve making, Drake will find time to always ask who she called and why she called the person.
He was always having issues with the way she looked at a man, or the way a man looked at her, and made a fuss, each time they stepped out of their room.
Drake even decided to cut their honeymoon short abruptly, when Samantha smiled back at a guy who was smiling at her làsciviously.
He had been furious that she felt he was being insecure, by deciding that they returned to their room immediately, when he noticed the guy chose to sit next to them in the restaurant they were having lunch.
“But babes, we just got here. Why would you want us to return to the hotel room, when we’re yet to eat the meal we have already ordered?” Samantha asked, all flustered.
“Well, I’m suddenly no longer hungry. I have lost my appetite, and need to head back to the hotel room” Drake said in a whisper.
“Then I’m sorry dear husband, you will have to leave without me because I am really hungry.
“We came to eat, and there’s no way on earth, I’m leaving here without eating” Samantha snapped unhappily, just before a waiter approached their table.
Drake smiled uneasily as a waiter arrived their table with the food they had ordered and stood looking at them in confusion, as they argued whether to stay or go.
“Pardon me please, but would you repackage that and make us take our meal with us?
“My wife and I have urgent need to leave now, and we do not have the time to eat here before we leave” Drake said to the waiter, and got dagger stares from his wife, who was not only furious about having to leave without eating, but also angry that Drake was beginning to sound just too bossy and overbearing, overnight.
“And what exactly was that? What was all that shìt about?” Samantha asked Drake angrily as they sat in the car, heading to the hotel.
“What shît? Is it the shît about the way that idiòt was dròoling over you like a morón, or the shît about how you kept leading him on with your flirtatiòus smiles?” Drake asked, equally angry.
“Damnit! You can’t be serious Drake. You made me leave a spicy hot meal I had waiting for me, just because you feel someone shouldn’t recognize the beauty I posses, all because I am your wife?
“Father Lord! I can’t believe how petty and insecure you are Drake.
“I can’t believe that you put up all that act, just because of something as simple as a polite smile at a harmless admirer, who from all indications, could see clearly that I was with my husband and meant nothing but to make me know that I am beautiful.
“Gosh! I’m so disappointed in you Drake. You could have so easily seen that the pōor dude meant no hàrm. He didn’t even make any further attempt to get my attention, aside the occasional harmless glances.
“He could have been admiring my dress for all you know!” Samantha shrieked.
“Oh yes, you’re so right. He was doing nothing but dròoling over you, because you chose to literally leave nothing to imagination with the terrible dress you’re wearing!” Drake screamed at her, nearly going crãzy with the thoughts of how the dude may have been imagining his wife in bed.
“Sweet Jesus! Since when did my dress sense begin to appall you? Since when did you find the type of clothes I wear out of the way?” Samantha asked in askance.
“Since I married you Samantha. Yes, since the day you became my wife, I stopped liking to see you out of the room in clothes like this, show all your cleàvages and making it appear like you want everyone to see everything that i paid to own” Drake spat, as they got out of the car,and headed for their hotel room.
“Is this a joke? Are you kidding me Drake?” Samantha asked, flabbergasted.
“You think I’m a jester? Oh really now? I have suddenly become a comedian because I have asked you to cover up these breãsts that are practically flying outside?” Drake asked, flaring up
“You know what Drake. I’m very tired, and in need of rest. You should take a chill pill too, and try to rest, maybe, that will make you recover from hallucinations that because of this stūpid ring on my finger, you will change everything about my life” Samantha said, and made to walk into the bathroom.
“Come back here at once Samantha. I didn’t ask you to leave, and you won’t dare walk away at will, because I am still talking to you” Drake yelled at her, pulling her forcefully to a stop.
They looked at each other for a while, then Drake strode out of the room, shaking with ràge and something else.
Samantha was taken aback by his outburst and chose to ignore him momentarily, seeing how furious and hostile he was getting.
She made out time to speak to him about how terrible it was for him to have reacted the way he did, referring to his actions as acts of insecurity, only to end up in their first major quarrèl.
Samantha tried so hard to ensure that she didn’t let the issue escalate beyond control, but she was gradually getting tired of Drake’s excesses, as he practically turned into a different being entirely, complaining about her mode of dressing, and the calls she made.
It even became worse, when they returned home and Johnson his neighbour came by to congratulate them.
“Welcome home our wife. Drake, you truly went to the market with your eyes! See how divine she is looking.
“No wonder you don’t even make attempts to come out of the house since you returned from your honeymoon
”Men, you are blessed my brother. We the single brothers are proud of you!” Johnson had said, and Drake had a hard time keeping his cool, long enough to have him leave his house before he began to question Samantha about Johnson’s choice of words.
“It had better not be what I’m thinking it is Samantha, but if Johnson is singing all these praises because you have something unholy between you two, then you are surely going to be the most miserable of all women, when I find out” Drake said before he stormed out of the sitting room, his face contorted in rage.
