After Bruce and his wife left his house the night his mother showed up and got so dramatic about finding her son married to Tracy, they drove straight to a cozy hotel, where Bruce quickly booked a room for the night.
βDid you have to be that way? Did you have to act all rashly in front of your mother, on my account?
βDid it not cross your mind that by what you have done now, it will take a longer while to get her to accept me as part of the family?β Tracy complained, as soon as they settled into the hotel room.
βYes it did cross my mind that she will get more upset with you after how she saw me react because of you, since I have never been that way with her before.
βBut I know it may not have crossed your mind too that if we had spent the night with her in the house, then it would have been impossible to make her ever accept you in this lifetime” Bruce reminded his wife, making her look down in realization of what her husband had done.
βOh my heavens! I truly didnβt think about it that way. I totally forgot that Uloma’s voice will certainly keep us awake for a better part of the night.
βI’m sorry for getting too emotional, but I was worried, and I was hoping that youβd allow me stay a while with her to be able to speak to her, and get to make her see that none of the things she holds against me is my faultβ Tracy said, leaning her head on his shoulder.
Bruce held her waist lovingly, pulled her closer and told her everything was going to be okay. He didn’t have the will to blame her for not understanding what the did back there, neither did he feel the need to do so, when he could see that she was getting exhausted with the worries and trΓ²ubles.
He ensured that she didnβt have to trouble herself further on his motherβs issue, when they had a night of tΓ΄rment to face together, assuring her that if he was indeed a man, heβll ensure that his mother accepted her sooner than she expected
βSheβs my mother baby, I know just what to do, and what to say, and sheβll be the one begging you to let the past remain in the past, trust me!β Bruce said confidently, and got an βare you sure?β from his wife, who looked up at his face to be sure he wasn’t making jokes.
βWill I play with a thing of this magnitude? I am my motherβs son, and if I do not know how to make her calm down at this age, then I really should go back to kindergarten
βAnd believe me my love, going back to kindergarten will cost me so much, because for starters, someone else will now be qualified to, and will be commissioned take away my wife.
βYou think that will happen in this lifetime?β He asked her with exaggerated hurt, making Tracy begin to laugh at how he pouted instantly like a poΓ΄rly treated baby.
Bruce got his wife where he wanted, she was laughing, and talking about them, and how nobody, living or dead can ever take his place in her heart.
And so the couple took turns to affirm their love for each other, both claiming to love the other more.
Soon, a part of Bruceβs body began to remind him that they had been working towards fusing their bodies in a biological connection, before they were interrupted.
He began to feel the throbbing below his belt line, as they sat on the hotel bed, talking about how much love they had for each other, and the atmosphere around them began to feel really different.
In an instant, their emotions began to soar in the air as the palpable tension between them approached its climax. Bruce was looking into her eyes, and the unspoken love and desire permeated her soul for sure.
Fueled by an intense mix of adrenaline and desire, and the urge to have his wife in safe keeping, he had sought refuge at this intimate haven, an escape from the suffocating judgment of his mother.
And having spoken so much about their love for each other, and they sat face-to-face, his hand trembling, yearning to unleash the undeniable chemistry that always simmered beneath the surface.
As their eyes remained locked, sharing a deep understanding, a fusion of emotions surged within them, a powerful testament to their enduring love.
With a gentle touch, he cupped her delicate cheek, his fingertips traversing the contours of her face, tracing a map that only he knew.
Their breaths mingled, a symphony of anticipation, as their lips drew closer, bridging the gap between them, like two magnets irresistibly drawn together.
Their kiss spoke volumes, an unspoken agreement that carried the weight of years of love and resilience.
It started tenderly, as their lips danced in perfect harmony, exuding yet a level a passion that hadnβt been expressed.
The world outside ceased to exist, time itself slowed down, as if granting them a moment outside the constraints of reality, away from the worries of Uloma and Mrs Ikenga.
Locked in their embrace, her fingers moved over his freshly groomed hair, instinctively pulling him closer, while his arms encircled her waist protectively, their bodies aligning effortlessly, confirming in their hearts that they were destined to fit together.
Their fervent kiss continued, growing more urgent and desperate, their hearts echoing the desire that consumed them.
The spark ignited a wildfire within them; an explosion of buried desires and pent-up emotions collided in a cascade of unspoken words. With each touch, each playful nip and each loving caress, their passion was reignited, a flame that once flickered, was now roaring into life.
They reveled in the intoxicating taste of each other, surrendering to the moment, seeking solace and euphoria in each other’s arms.
The room seemed to pulse with their shared energy, oblivious to the world beyond their sanctuary. The sweat-drenched whispers of their fervent kisses penetrated the air, echoing a love stronger than any outside interference.
It was a declaration, a defiance against judgment and expectation, as they found solace in their connection, knowing it could withstand anything.
And as their lips finally parted, their eyes locked once more, reflecting an unspoken promise to fight the battles they might face together. In that stolen moment, in the warmth of their lingering embrace, they found strength, resilience, and a love that would forever remain unbreakable.
A seal of their affirmation, came from the panting and moaning that inundated the hotel room, some moments later, as Bruce and his wife began the two people press-up.
Bruce had already been whisked away by his desires, and he was having a hard time restraining the urge to go all out, but the caution in his head, reminded him now and then, that his wife was pregnant.
On her part, her husband’s electrifying touches didn’t leave her the choice of talking things as easy as she would have wanted, she was way past the point of worries.
When their matrimonial polka ended, the couple were not just fully satisfied and satiated, they were exhausted.
That night, Uloma came as usual, but Tracy seemed to have been trapped in the heavenlies that her husband had taken her in their jolly good ride, so her whole being was totally unaware of the cacophonous sounds from Uloma, and so was her husband, who was sleeping soundly.
The angry and unforgiving spirit howled terribly, crashing things destrΓΊctively in the room, but the couple managed to remain supernaturally unaware of the happenings around them.
It was their first time of having a peaceful night since they got married, and they woke up the next morning bewildered, yet very glad that they escaped her torment for a night.
Bruce knew that he needed to go to work that morning, so he rushed home with his wife, and got prepared to leave for work, even when his mother was still throwing tantrums.
“I wasn’t expecting you to return so quickly Bruce. I thought you will have no reason to come to a place where you’ll spend sometime with me under same roof” his mother screamed at him, the moment he walked into the house.
Bruce made to speak, but Tracy gave him th look, the kind that made him recall that they had agreed that he’d give her a chance to speak with his mother and face her troubles head on.
He looked at her worriedly, but she nudged him out of the sitting room, and began to speak to his mother, getting really close to her, as she spoke.
“Mum, I know we got off on a wrong foot last night, but I know that if you give me a chance, you will see that I’m not as bad as you think.
“Please give me a chance to show you that those things you hold against me are actually not my doing, and about what you witnessed that day, we have already overcome a lot with Bruce and I already getting married, and him being the one who deflΓ΄wered me” Tracy explained, kneeling in front of her mother in-law.
“I said it! I knew it that you were just on a mission to use my son as a replacement for your head.
“So, little wΓ―tch, you are confirming to me now, that you have successfully made my son a substitution for your head in you coven?
“You lured him into your ΓͺvΓ―l bossom, and made him the object of your sacrifice to the demΓ΄ns you represent here on earth?
“Well, I’m sorry for you right now. I feel really sorry for you because you have ventured to a wrong person’s household.
“Bruce is my only son, and you won’t expect that I’ll let him fall into a pit, just because I have heard him scream that he knows what he is doing, when I can see clearly that he has been blindfolded
“It won’t work for you. I will never allow you keep him enchanted forever, never!” Mrs. Ikenga screamed angrily.
Tracy felt like crying, but she was really hurt to hear her mother inlaw sound so determined not to give peace a chance.
Her husband appeared from the bedroom at that point, when his mother was vowing to ensure that she was not going to remain in the family for long.
Tracy looked at him pleadingly, wishing that he wasn’t going to explode and make things worse for her.
She could already see that his reactions to his mother’s anger, was making the woman more resolved to send her away.
βMama, I donβt know what Iβm going to do about your feelings for my wife, but Iβm hoping that you do not fail to let her have what a woman who is about to give you a grandchild getsβ Bruce told his mother.
His mother stood still instantly, the confusion and pΓ ins in her heart, showing visibly on her face.
Bruce smiled happily, and began to make his way out of the house, feeling so sure that his wife was going to be safe, since his mother was now aware that she was with child.
If only he knew that the news had only aggravated things in his motherβs heart.
Several minutes after her husband drove out, Tracy stood outside, thinking of how best to approach her mother inlaw, since she was still adamant about accepting her.
