“Take her back home, or get Dolores’s number from her and call her to come get her, right now” she said and walked out of the office angrily.
Sloane got the kids out of the company despite Francesca’s tears, no way to console her .
“Stop crying” Miguel said beside her, but that only made her cry more. “Mummy hates me!!!”
Sloane squatted in front of her and wiped the tears, then she held her shoulders.
“Good girls don’t cry, so please… please stop” she begged.
“I want to stay with mummy!!!” She cried again.
“Gosh!” Sloane sighed.
“Hey!” Maxwell’s voice made the three of them look back at once.
He’s just coming out with a large smile plastered on his face.
Sloane stood from Francesca’s front, and he took charge, squatting in front of her instead.
“Cutie, what’s your name?” He asked.
“Fran..ces..ca… Andrade-Kings” she hiccupped, and he raised a brow
“Francesca Andrade-Kings? You bear your mum’s surname?”
She nodded, and he got it immediately. The problem is from Francesca’s father, but since he’s been hearing news about Jemima, he has heard nothing about her husband or boyfriend, so it’s complicated right now.
He raised his hands to her face and began wiping her tears with his thumbs.
“Your mum only needs time” he smiled.
“How many years will it take for her to love me back?” She sniffed.
“You’re willing to wait for years?” Maxwell asked.
“Yes, I love her so much, and I’d do anything” she replied, and he smiled again.
“So adorable, do you have a phone?” He asked.
She brought out her cute iPhone immediately, and he took it.
“Password?” He asked.
“My mummy’s favorite flower” she replied, and he looked up…

He nodded before clicking the letters to unlock it. Jemima’s picture is her wallpaper too.
Maxwell smiled and dialled his number on the phone, calling his line with it.
It rang in his pocket, and he gave her her phone back.
“Save my number as Maxwell, you can call me anytime you need someone to talk to” he said.
She nodded with a smile and saved it immediately. Maxwell also did the same on his phone.
“Please… don’t hold my mum that way again, it must have hurt” she muttered.
“I won’t” he replied.
“Promise?”
“Promise” he smiled, and they linked their pinky fingers.
