Juliet’s POV
I was sleeping in my room when my phone rang out, deep into the quietness of the room. The caller was the divisional police officer.
I sluggishly answered and he told me that Jeremy and Evans has been released from their custody.
I appreciated him for his kind gesture and empathy and then hung up the call.
Few minutes later, the door buzzer rang and I beckoned on the person to come in. I was already out from my bedroom and was now sitting on the sofa in the living room.
The door swung open and Jeremy came in, he was still on the same clothes he was arrested with.

She nodded, smiling, and then I went to my freezer and brought out a chilled bottle of wine. We all drank it together and made merriment for reunion.
Evelyn’s Pov
I wasn’t happy with my bestie for letting her raped culprit free from the jail.
All my expectations was that she was going to seek for justice from the court.
I didn’t wanna let her release most especially Jeremy her college crush, but I couldn’t go against her will.
All this while I didn’t know that my fiance was keeping an eagle eye on me.
I nearly ran out of the room when I felt sensation of someone touching my shoulder.

I got angry the more.

I shook my head.

He held me closer to himself and whispered into my ear.

“I know, but we must always learn how to forgive no matter what”, he uttered.
Before I could even continue with my argument, I was being interrupted with a passionate kiss.
