We got to the hospital and I climbed down the car with Nikky’s help.
“Don’t worry Nikky, I am fine.” I said and she shook her head.
“You can’t just expect me to believe that, not when you are still bleeding badly.” She said and we walked into the hospital to meet Priscilla and Teo.
“Hey.” They said as soon as they saw us approaching.
“Hey. What about Delilah?” Nikky asked and they pointed to one of the wards.
“And Theresa?” She asked.
“She wouldn’t leave the door. She is kinda down.” Priscilla said and Nikky ran off to meet Theresa.
I looked around and I saw the Nurses looking at me and whispering somethings into their ears. It wasn’t only the nurses, but almost all those that saw me.
“Don’t worry brother. That shit about shall be removed tomorrow night, after we get Martin.” Kaleb said to my ears and I nodded.
“I really can’t wait.” I said remembering that I was hurting at my back.
“You should get that thing out of you now.” Teo said waving to a nurse to attend to me.
The Nurse approached me and looked at me from head to Toe, probably shocked about my looks, or couldn’t Stull believe I am a fraudster.
“Come this way.” She finally said walking to another ward.
“See you soon.” I said and they nodded.
“And you guys should sort whatever is going on between you two.” I said looking at Kaleb and Priscilla.
“Go brush your wound quick. We need to rest.” Priscilla said and I nodded finally entering the ward.

I looked at Priscilla and Kaleb and they looked so angry, I was lost staring at both of them. It’s quite obvious they had known each other before.
But why are they so worked up?
“Okay now the wounded are getting healed, can we heal but of you the stress too?” I asked and Priscilla looked away.
“It’s fine Teo.” Kaleb said and I shook my head.
“No it’s not. My girlfriend was doing totally fine not until she saw you close to that car and then boom, she isn’t even talking to me the way she is supposed to.” I said and he sighed.
“We need each other in the military.” He said and I smiled.
“You were in the military?” I asked and he nodded.
“Yes he was. Same place where I also served. Las Vegas.” Priscilla replied from behind me.
“Wow, this is interesting.” I said and she shook her head.
“It’s not.” She said looking away.
“Can you stop hating me already? That was a long time ago. We have moved on.” He said and I narrowed my gaze.
“Woah woah, you are beginning to move too fast. What happened? Why does she hate you?” I asked eagerly.
“We were a thing back then.” He said folding his hand.
“And then?” I asked and Priscilla replied from behind me.
“He left. Without saying a word, not even a farewell.” She said sounding pretty angry.
“Priscilla am sorry okay? I was still a baby, and that marriage thing was scary so I had to bail.” He said and I furrowed my brows.
“You discussed marriage?” I asked and they nodded.
“I loved him so much and was willing to get married to him, but I guess he was just a puppy, so he ran off. Leaving me to myself.” Priscilla said.
“Am sorry about that okay? I was just a baby.” He said and I looked at her.
“C’mon Priscilla, it’s a long time ago. I am here now, you shouldn’t hate him. And trust me, I am not some puppy that would run off.” I said and she smiled.
“Are we cool now?” He asked and she nodded reluctantly after I signaled her to.
“So why did you leave the military?” He asked and I felt their discussion was boring me.
“You guys can chat okay? Am going to stay with Nikky.” I said walking away from both of them. I approached Nikky and she rose her head to look at me.
“You seem pretty cool with them talking.” She said and i nodded.
“Yeah. I hear their story. They were in the military, they were a thing and then he ran off when they discussed marriage. I guess he was scared to enter into one but Priscilla was damn ready. So she was kinda pissed, even up till two minutes ago. But now they are cool.” I said turning to look at them again.
“You have a great personality Teo.” She said and I looked at her.
“Where is that coming from?” I asked and she smiled.
“Jokes apart Teo. Not all guys will leave their girl with their ex to discuss. Not when she is still vexed about them breaking apart. But you seem really confident about your love and I really admire that.” She said and i smiled. Let’s just say I blushed.
“Thanks Nikky. I just feel they can be friends again, since they both have moved on. Keeping grudges isn’t good right?” I asked and she nodded.
“Absolutely.” She replied.
“So what about you and Danny? Anything to share?” He asked and I smiled.
“Danny is the best thing that has ever happened to me Teo. I feel when I am with him nothing can ever happen to me. I feel loved, safe, abd respected. I love him so much Teo and nothing will tear us apart again. Not even my mother, if I actually had one.” She said and I smiled nodding.
“When I knew Danny, trust me I knew he was awesome. He had this wonderful personality that seemed to amaze me. You remember the day we first met, I wanted to show you off to him badly maybe you could work out.” I said and she laughed.
“Yes I do remember. And then he ran off right, because he was so scared to see me. He kept thinking of what to tell me if i see Danny Farrow in a van full of meats.” She said and I laughed.
“Danny loves you so much Nikky. Never forget that. He is ready to risk anything for you, even if it means his life.” I said and she smiled.
“I know, it’s quite obvious. Thanks Teo, you are a really good friend. Priscilla is so lucky to have you.” She said and we both laughed.
“Guys, i should be on my way now.” Kaleb said as he and Priscilla approached us.
“What’s wrong?” Nikky asked.
“We aren’t done with the job remember, Martin’s wife. We need to get her.” He said and we nodded.
“Be careful okay?” Priscilla said and he nodded.
“Please keep a low profile. You shouldn’t be seen everywhere yet. And tell my brother to get to a place far from his office. He shouldn’t be questioned for now.” He explained and we all nodded.
“We will see after all this.” He said winking before heading out of the hospital.
“Thanks Teo.” Priscilla said kissing me on the lips.
“You are good now.” I said and she nodded.
“He actually has a wife now, and she is pregnant.” She said and I narrowed my gaze.
“I am so sorry Priscilla.” I said and she shook her head.
“I am totally fine with it, trust me. I have you baby, you are the best. I am so happy for him.” She said holding my hand.
“I love you.” I said and she smiled widely.
“I love you too ” she replied kissing me again.
The door opened and the nurse came out of Delilah’s ward. We all rushed to meet her.
“How is she?” We asked.
“She is out of danger. She needs to rest for a day before she is discharged.” She said and we nodded Happily.
“Can we see her?” I asked and she nodded.
“Sure, but don’t stay long. She is awake.” She said walking away.
“Time to see Mama.” Nikky said to Theresa happily as we all headed into the ward.
