“Princess Helen… Will you marry me?” He asked
Helen was lost of words and nodded
He took that as a yes and put the ring on her finger
Immediately he stood up,she hugged him
“I love you Derrick” She smiled

They pulled away from the hug and sat down to enjoy their dinner. Princess Helen’s joy was unmeasurable as she kept looking at her finger. She finally did it. She accomplished her mission.
After they had,had a good time,they were drove back to the palace of Gatrish.

THE PALACE
They drove into the palace and Helen rushed down immediately they opened the door for her. She ran into the throne room and saw her parents
“Someone looks happier than usual this evening” Queen Zara winked at her
“Derrick proposed to me” She showed her mother the ring
“Congratulations my jewel” The King smiled as Prince Derrick entered
“Congratulations to you two” The queen stood up and hugged them
“Thank you my queen”
“Thanks mother”
“Kira will be thrilled. She got proposed to today too” The king said
“Really? Where is she? I need to see her” Helen was elated
“She is in your room dear” The queen said
“Okay. See you later Derrick. Let me go show off my ring” She ran in and they laughed
Prince Derrick sat down
“Congratulations once again” The King said
“Thanks your majesty” He smiled
“So what’s the way forward?” Queen Zara asked
“We’ll commence preparations immediately because my Father doesn’t want any distractions. He insists we get married right away” Derrick said and they laughed
“Ahh…your father and his impatience. Always snappy” King Darius joked
“Tell me about it” Derrick said and they laughed again
“It worked for him some times but it other times,he wasn’t so lucky. I remember when we were in College,he would always rush to finish an exam and end up failing until he learned his lesson and stopped” King Darius said and they laughed
Prince Derrick checked his wrist watch and stood up
“Permission to leave your majesty. I need to give my father feedback” He said
“Okay. My regards” The King smiled
“Okay. I’ll come see her tomorrow. I don’t want to interrupt their ring show off stuff” Derrick teased and they laughed
He bowed and left
“Luck has shone it’s light on our daughter. She will be happy from now on” Queen Zara couldn’t help it as tears of joy trickled down her cheeks

Helen was with Kira
“Congratulations Princess” Kira hugged her
“You too. You’re a Princess too”
“I still can’t believe all these” Kira said

Helen hugged her

STAR CROWN COLLEGE???
Princess Tasha was finally back and accompanied Helen to the College. They were in Mr Thomas office
“So you won’t be with us again? You’re leaving the school?” Mr Thomas asked
“Yes. My wedding is coming up and I need to prepare for it. I’m happy the school is in safe hands. You’ve done alot for me” She smiled
“It’s my pleasure your majesty” He smiled back
God had blessed him tremendously. His life changed over night. From a poor teacher to a well paid college head. His wife was able to get a good job too and his daughter was going to be crowned as the Princess right hand lady soon. What more could he ask for?
“Here is my invitation card. Your whole family is welcome at my wedding ceremony” She said
He collected it
“My Princess,what have we done to deserve such favor from you?”
“You’re lucky sir” Princess Tasha said
“You’ve done alot. I have to be on my way now” She stood up

“My pleasure” She smiled and left with Tasha
On their way back to the palace,they were attacked again but the guards were able to stop them. It was a narrow escape for them. They got to the palace and Helen entered the throne room angrily. She was annoyed at all these occurrences. Who would hate her so much as to want her dead? The worst part is that she can’t find the person. The man they locked up is so stubborn and refused to talk up till now. These whole thing is getting on her nerves
Prince Derrick was with Stanley and the King when she stormed in
“What happened” The prince asked
She couldn’t answer and Tasha entered
“What happened?” They faced Tasha
“We were attacked on our way back from school” Tasha replied
“Again?” The King sighed
“Are you hurt?” Derrick asked her
“No I’m fine. I’m just angry” She replied
“This can’t go on. One moment” Prince Derrick went into his car and brought out the tape the whole thing was recorded
He entered
“Your majesty, I’m afraid that all these you all are about to hear will shock you. Let me play it. The person saying all these is behind all that has been happening to the Princess” He played it and Helen’s jaw dropped as tears stream down her cheeks
“That’s Uncle Zaki speaking. I can’t believe this. So he is behind all these? And he still pretends to love me?”
“My father did these. I warned him but he won’t listen” Tasha snapped
“What do you mean?” The King asked
“My father has been planning to overthrow the King. I thought he has stopped but I didn’t know he was still doing it” Tasha confessed
“So that man was right. It means he was threatened before changing his mind. Guards!!!” The King was furious now
They came
“Yes your majesty”
“Bring Zaki to the palace immediately”
“Okay your majesty” They rushed out
Helen sat down in shock. She felt betrayed. Someone she never expected did all these to her because of power. Derrick sat beside her and she cried on his chest

ZAKI’S MANSION
Zaki just received a phone call that his plan failed again. He threw the phone on the ground and it shattered to pieces
“Jeez what happened?” Olivia asked
“My plan to kill Helen failed again. This is so annoying. I need to step things up. If sending people to her won’t work then I will have to kill her with my own hands” He clenched his fists
“So what next?” She asked
“I just need to….” He trailed off when he noticed she was holding something
“What are you holding there?” He asked moving close to her
“Nothing” She moved back
“I saw something. Show me” He persisted
She brought out her gun
“Stay back or I’ll shoot” She threatened
He kicked the gun out of her hand and collected it
“What!!! You’ve been recording our conversations the whole time? I should have known”
She tried to run but he threw her back
“I can explain” She said
“Explain what exactly? Tell me why I shouldn’t end you here and now you traitor” He yelled
He dragged her phone from her and smashed it
She tried to run again but he hit her head on the wall and she fell unconscious. He took a rope and tied her up.
Just then his second phone rang
“Hello”
“You need to get out of there. The King found out and he has sent the guards to come take you. You have to leave now” The caller said
“How did that happen?”
“No time for explanations. They are on to you. Leave now”
The caller hung up
Master Zaki ran inside and took some bags and ammunitions. He carried Olivia and dropped her in the car. He then entered and drove out after the gate was opened for him.

DESTINATION: UNKNOWN…..
The guards rushed in minutes later but couldn’t find him. They searched everywhere but there was no sign of him. All they saw were the broken phones on the floor. Zaki mistakenly dropped the recorder of the last conversation between him and Olivia and the guards found it.
They took it and packed the broken phones with them too then headed back to the palace.

BACK AT THE PALACE
“This is pure betrayal” Queen Zara said after they told her everything. She just got back from a Shopping Mall
“I trusted him. Why would my brother do this?” The King was hurt
It all came as a shock for them except Derrick,Stanley and Tasha of course.
Just then the guards entered
“Where is he?” The King asked
“He has escaped your majesty” One of the guards said
The King stood up
“What!!!!!!”
“But we found something. We found two broken phones and a recorder”
“Play the record” The King ordered
The record started playing starting from when Olivia asked him what happened to when he caught her and drag it. It also recorded the phone call between Zaki and the mystery caller before it trailed off
“Who is the lady he was fighting with?” Helen asked
Derick gasped
“He has Olivia”
“Olivia?”
