Meanwhile, KC has been calling Martha but she has refused to pick. But she decided to pick up one day as his calls were much that fateful day.

KC has brought his family to Lagos.
They lived like a big and happy family.
Meanwhile, KC has changed to a bigger apartment. He has moved into a two bedroom flat before finally bringing his family to Lagos.
The news of KC bringing his family to Lagos did not go down well with Martha. In fact, the news added salt into Martha’s injury.
Martha had abandoned her shop in the computer village. And goods worth millions of naira were rotting in dust.
Meanwhile, Martha had tried but she couldn’t summon the courage to stand up again to her feet for business. As she was not prepared to face the shame and mockery in the market. The worst of it all was that KC’s wife has started coming to market as well. KC even now leaves his shop into her care. That prospect of such sight alone was a no, no to Martha.
Contrary, KC ‘s business was doing very well. All thanks to Martha who had taught him how to catch fish instead of giving him fish. She linked him up with some international business minded people. You know, when Alhaji had fully trusted Martha so much, he linked her with some of his friends for the same business transactions. So as not to be selfish, Martha fronted KC and linked him with some of these contacts and KC was dealing with them directly. So even as now that Martha was no longer in KC’s life, it didn’t affect his business dealings with his partners.
As a matter of fact, KC feared that Martha would pour sand into his garri but contrary, Martha never for one day thought of such not to talk of spoiling his business relationship with his business partners. Even the vehicle, which Martha bore the heaviest financial weight of the purchase, Martha left it with KC. She never asked him about it even as they were no longer together. As a matter of fact, that same vehicle happened to be what KC and his wife were using to cruise the city of Lagos.
On a fateful day, the news of Martha gone missing spreaded like a wildfire. To an extent that the news circulated the whole of the market.
It was Aunty Ifeoma that raised the alarm.
It has become a routine for Aunty Ifeoma to check up on Martha every morning of every blessed day. That day, as usual, she placed a WhatsApp call to Martha but she wasn’t online. So she patiently waited for her to come online but Martha didn’t show up.
She became very much worried.
At one point, she placed a direct call to Martha but her phone was switched off. It was very unusual for Martha’s phone to go off. Because even though there was no power supply for her to charge the phone, Martha had a power bank.
Aunty Ifeoma quickly called one of her tenants to go check up on Martha but when he got there, he found the door locked.
However, the assumption was that Martha went out and probably she had a flat battery.
So they waited patiently for her to be back. But Aunty Ifeoma was having this bad feeling that something was wrong somewhere.
The day was almost winding down when Aunty Ifeoma finally gave the order to break the door.
After several attempts, they succeeded in breaking the door.
But Lo and behold, they met the biggest shock of their life…
