Marvin’s Pov:

The thugs carried the unconscious Bryan into the other room.

What did he think he is?

He thinks he’s wise and brilliant but what he doesn’t know is that am smarter.

Actually I noticed that someone was following me so I decided to hide behind the stem of a tree.

He walked past me and I had to hit him on the back with a log of wood.

He’s so stupid for sure!

This is the second time he’s coming into my den to rescue Arianna and this time I won’t take things easy with him.

I will surely make sure he leaves the dungeon lifeless.

“Boss we’ve taken him to the other room” One of the thugs said as I nodded.

“Very good! Tonight we will be finishing him off for good” I smirked mischieviously.

“You want him dead boss? You also want the lady dead?” He asked as I landed a slap on his face.

“Don’t dare hurt her…. She’s my wife do you get it?” I shouted at him as he nodded.

“Yes boss!” He snapped.

“Good! I will make sure he dies before Arianna and I leaves the country tomorrow…. Not even the moon can stop us” I laughed wickedly.

 Arianna's Pov:

Hot tears pricked my eyes and rolled down my cheeks.

Who is going to rescue me from here ?

I have no hope of leaving this place….

I thought about Ava!

Will she really come to my rescue?

She was the only one I called before the thug took the phone away from me.

Oh God!

Please come to my rescue….

I can’t stand Marvin and his devilish attitudes.

I looked around the dark room and continued crying.

I thought about my poor mother and how she will be feeling now.

I laid on the bed staring at the ceiling fan absentmindedly.

Not only that my Arianna is dead,,,,, Bryan is also nowhere to be found.

Marvin too is nowhere to be found.

The police kept giving us empty hopes yet no sign of the missing Bryan.

Why is life so unfair?

She was carrying a tray of quail eggs and toasted bread.

It’s been two days now yet I haven’t tasted anything.

“Mother… Please eat something” She said as I turned my face away.

“Am not hungry Laila… Go ahead and eat the food with Bibi ok” I patted her hair.

She bowed her head in tears.

“Mother you told me that if you skip meals then you will fall sick please just eat already so that you won’t fall sick” She said as I forced a smile at her.

“Am just not hungry my dear child” I said as I hugged her tightly.

Why would I eat when my Arianna was starving before she got burnt in the explode?

    Bryan's Pov:

I tossed from one side to the other.

And then I threw my eyes open….

It was so dark that I couldn’t see anything.

My neck was aching so badly that I could hardly move it.

“Anyone… Please help me” I managed to say but no one responded instead my voice echoed.

I struggled up as I headed to the door.

I banged the door again and again but it wasn’t going to open.

Then the door creaked open and Marvin walked in.

He turned the lights on.

“Marvin?” I groaned in pain.

“Oh dear hero…. You are awake now” He said as I glared hard at him.

“Where did you keep Arianna? Where are you hiding her? I know she’s not dead” I yelled at him.

“Awww…. So you could feel that too? Is that how deep the love is huh?” He mocked.

“Where did you hide her?” I asked again not minding his mocks.

“You are such a big fool for coming here Bryan because I won’t spare you and for your information we are traveling out by tomorrow” He said as I gulped hard.

” I said where is she?” I repeated again.

“You want to see her right? Maybe before you die I guess” He said as his thugs walked in and dragged me along.

They pushed a door open and pushed me in as Marvin turned on the light.

“Bryan??” I heard my Arianna’s tiny sore voice.

I quickly raised my head.

“Arianna?” I called out.

  Arianna's Pov:

They pushed the door open as I became startled.

They turned the light on and pushed someone into the room.

It was Bryan…..

Bryan struggled up as he rushed to me and hugged me tightly.

“I missed you… I thought you left me” He said tiredly.

“You came for me” Was all I could say in tears.

“You know I will never leave you” He whispered into my ears.

“And you know I will never leave you” I said as he planted a kiss on my forehead.

“Enough of the love scenes” Marvin said as they dragged Bryan apart.

I winced in pains.

“I think it will be best if the lover girl ends the life of the lover boy herself” He said as I gasped.

He handed a gun to me….

“Arianna shoot Bryan” He ordered as he placed the other pistol on my head……
