My jaw dropped in shock as I looked at Arianna with my palms still on my cheeks.
Is she regaining her memories finally?
Why is she so concerned about him now?

I know that someday she will regain her memories but before that happens, I need to slip our wedding ring into her finger and also make sure she gives birth first.

“Am sorry Marvin but you shouldn’t speak of Bryan in such manner” She said as she backed me immediately.
I wanted to flare up at her and scream at her but I kept cool.
“But that’s how I feel Arianna! Just look at me right now I don’t even know what I will tell my family if you turn down my proposal” I cried pretentiously.

I clenched my fists as anger burnt through me.
“Dammit!” I cursed under my breath.
“Arianna haven’t you seen how he keeps on hurting me and making me feel bad” I said feigning tears.
Well she fell for the drama.
“I know.. He’s so short tempered” She wiped her tears off.
“Such a person will only hurt you” I said as she nodded her head.
“Gullible” I thought inwardly and smiled mischievously.
“You’re right.. You really are absolutely right” She said.
I quickly hugged her tightly.

I stared at the ring on my finger and smiled.
Really mysterious!
Why would my wedding ring with Bryan refuse to leave my finger?
That means when I get married with Marvin then he will put his own ring on top of it.
My cell phone beeped and I quickly picked it up.
It was a message from an unknown number.
I opened the message and read it aloud.
“Arianna please don’t go through with your wedding with Marvin….. He’s not who you think he is….. I advise you to go back to Bryan cos Marvin is just selfish and he is the mastermind behind your misfortunes” I read.
Fear gripped me as my heart beat increased.
“What?” I said as shivered in fear.

I heard a knock on my door interrupting the thoughts that was running through my mind.
“Please come in” I managed to say.
The door swing open and my mother walked in with annoyance.
“What is this am hearing all over the place Arianna?” She freaked out.
“What do you mean mother?” I asked confused.
“Oh please stop acting like you don’t know…” She sighed.
“Am lost mother…. I don’t understand a thing that you are saying” I said.
“Fine… What am I hearing about you getting married with that boy Marvin? ” Mother screamed.
I bowed my head in guilty.
“Am sorry mother but you won’t understand how it got to this extent” I said
“Oh shut up… Just keep quiet! What is there not to understand that you were proposed to by Marvin and you accepted” Mother yelled.
“I only did that because I didn’t want him to be disgraced and feel insulted in public and am going on with the wedding because of his family” I said as mother scoffed.
“Really? So you are going to ruin in your life for his sake… Listen to me,,, we don’t marry out of pity but out of love.. Mark my words Arianna you will regret this!” Mother said as she stormed out of the room.
I bowed my head as tears rolled down my cheeks.

“I need to talk to Marvin about this” I said

“She can’t just stop thinking about that stupid Bryan…. After all my efforts to win her over” I yelled angrily.
“That’s the more reason why you should let her go” Derek replied.
“Hell no… She’s mine and mine alone,,,, I can’t let Bryan take her from me” I said
“Stop this whole charade already and face the reality that even in her current state of mind she still loves Bryan and not you” Derek said
“No way! She must be mine…. I will have to kill that foolish Bryan and have her all to myself” I screamed.
“Marvin?” I heard a tiny voice from behind and turned around.
