He went on his knees right in front of me as the crowd stared at us.
“Marry you?” I asked in shock as my eyes widened in shock.
He didn’t even let me speak, he quickly took my hands.
” Please Arianna! My family is here” He said as I looked around.
He was about to slip the ring but he tried taking off my wedding ring with Bryan.
But then the ring was stuck on my finger.
He tried forcing it but instead he wounded my finger.
“Stop it…. You’re hurting me” I said still pretending.
He became visibly furious but he was still calm.
“Why isn’t it coming out?” He asked as I looked at him puzzled.
“What’s your business? Why would you propose to me when we are not even dating?” I asked in annoyance but I didn’t want him to be disgraced so I still pretended.
“You really have to do this for me Arianna…. Just say yes and I will tell you my reason for this later” He said as I gulped hard.
“Am sorry to disappoint you Marvin but no! I can’t go on with this madness you call proposal” I said as I turned to leave.
“Marvin! How dare you?” I heard a roar and everyone turned around.
To my greatest surprise it was Bryan.
I gasped in shock.
Before I could utter another word,,, Bryan already pounced on Marvin throwing thunderous punches at him.
I covered my mouth with my palms.
“Bryan! Let go of him” I shouted as I rushed to bleeding Marvin.
Marvin struggled up as I helped him.
“Why are you always causing trouble and hurting Marvin? What has he ever done to you?” I screamed at him.
“Can’t you see it Arianna? He’s trying to take you from me” Bryan yelled as I scoffed.
“Take me a way from you?” I asked with furrowed eyebrows.
” Yes Arianna….. You don’t know this guy that’s why you are talking like this,,,, he He wants to create a rift between us” Bryan said.
“Rift indeed! Bryan there is nothing between us and that is all I know,,,, well yes! We are getting married” I said trying to make him feel jealous.
Bryan’s jaw dropped in astonishment.
“You heard me Marvin…. We are getting married soon” I said as Marvin smiled.
I quickly stretched my hand and Marvin slipped the ring through my third finger.
“I hope you understand that” I said as I saw hot tears rush down his eyes.
And for a moment, I felt like wiping those tears off myself.
But then I turned my face away.
“How could you…..?” He broke down as I blinked my eyes continuously.
“I think you should leave right now” I managed to say.
“You hate me that much?” He asked as I bit my fingers.
“Bryan it’s over between us and besides the crowd are watching us please just leave from here” I said looking around in shame.
“I don’t care Arianna” He said
“I guess since you don’t want to leave from here then I will be the one to leave with Marvin” I said as I quickly rushed off and Marvin followed me.
I burst into tears as I sat by the pool.
Am such a bad person….
Memories please just come back already!

“Arianna please stop crying!’ I heard Marvin’s voice from behind as I quickly wiped off my tears.
“What are you doing here Marvin?” I asked with a pesky voice.
“You just asked me to come with you and…. ” He said as I glared hard at him.
“Just because I put up that charade to make my ex husband jealous doesn’t mean that I have forgiven you for this drama you put up tonight” I said
“Drama? This is not a drama…. This is really how I feel towards you Arianna please believe me” He said and tried touching my hair but I pushed his hand away.
“Just go away!” I screamed as I rushed off.
This is getting out of hand!
I have to leave now….
I sat on my bed starring absentmindedly at the ceiling fan.
Why would Marvin propose to me?
I kept thinking as I glanced at the beautiful expensive ring on my third finger.
There is allso Bryan’s ring in my other finger!
I tried to take Bryan’s ring off but it was really stuck.

My cell phone rang aloud for the one hundredth time I guess.
I turned it off as I buried my face in the pillow.
Actually I don’t know why but I was really expecting Bryan’s call but I got not even a missed call.

I sat on the sofa with my ear pod into my ears as I sipped my cold juice.
“Really man? Am so proud of you… You shouldn’t keep crying for that girl” Jim said as I forced a smile at him.
“Yes… I even thought that after the incident today then you might even commit suicide?” They joked.
“Why would I commit suicide? If I do then that means I have finally surrendered the love of my life to Marvin ” I said
“What? I thought you are finally moving on” Jim asked.
“No I can never leave her but you know now I realize that am paying for my mistake of treating her badly before so God wants me to suffer before getting her back” I said
“What do you mean?” They chorused.
“You know God just wants me to fight for my love and that is exactly what I will do,,,, I will fight for my love” I said with a smile.
They exchanged glances with each other.
“Weird…. And when did you start talking about God?” They said and I smirked.
“Just now!” I laughed.
“I’ll fight for us Arianna…. I promise you that,,, I will never give up on you” I thought inwardly.

I throw the door open and gasped.
I quickly shut the door but he opened it and walked in as I walked away from him backing him.
“What are you doing here Marvin?” I asked with a stern voice.
“Arianna please listen to me” He pleaded.
“Just go away! what do you take me for? A piece of doll with no single feelings?” I freaked out.
“Am sorry if that’s how you feel but that’s not what I meant” Marvin said.
“I don’t want to talk to you Marvin so please just go away” I said
“Why? Is this because of your good for nothing ex husband?” He asked as I quickly turned around.
I landed a dirty slap on his cheek……
