💃 Bryan’s POV:💃
I walked into the doctor’s office with a puzzled face.
” No doctor! I don’t understand a thing here, what happened to her?” I asked anxiously as I paced around the office.
“Calm down Mr Adams! We have run the X-ray on her and this is the result” He said dropping the envelope on the table in front of him.
” So what now doctor? What’s wrong with her? Why can’t she recognize me?” I asked anxiously.
“Well you see Mr Adams the truth is she’s suffering from amnesia” The doctor said as my eyes widened in shock.
“What?” I half yelled.
“Yes Mr Adams….. She’s suffering from amnesia due to the gunshot on her head,,,,, her memories were badly affected” The doctor said as my jaw dropped in astonishment.
“As a matter of fact,,,, the only people she will recognize are those who she have been with since birth….. She doesn’t recall getting married to you or even seeing you” The doctor added.
“Oh God! Why? This shouldn’t happen” I panicked.
“Doctor! What are we going to do now?” I asked more than anxiously.
The doctor exhaled deeply and took off his eyeglasses.
“Nothing can be done for the meantime… Let’s keeping praying she gets her memory back real soon” The doctor said.
I was too shocked to say a word so I sat sluggishly on the couch.
Hot tears pricked my eyes and rolled down gradually from my cheeks.
How do I tell her how I feel?
Why?
Why should this happen now that I finally made up my mind to say yes to love?
Why should this happen to my Arianna?
I took a sharp deep breath as I scratched my head.
This is the worst situation ever…..
I can see her but I can’t talk go her!

How I wished I took the bullet instead of her then she wouldn’t forget me…..
Then she won’t get amnesia!
The police too are so worthless!
They couldn’t even find the gunman…..
I felt a sharp pain on my head.

I sat up on the hospital bed as I ate the rice cakes mother prepared for me.
“Yum mother…. This is super tasty” I hummed as I ate the rice cakes.
“Am glad you liked it so much child” Mother smiled as she patted my hair.
“I can’t wait for you to come back to our house again sister” Bibi said happily.
“But I’ve always been with you guys” I said as Laila arched her eyebrows.
“Nope…. You left the house about a month ago” Laila said.
“What?’ I asked confused.
“Really Arianna? You don’t remember being married to Bryan Adams?” My mother asked giving me a suspicious glare.
“Married? I can’t remember being married” I said.
“And the ring on your finger? What do you have to say about it?” Mother asked as I scratched my head.
I stared at my finger and the ring on it in so much confusion.
“I don’t really remember how this got to my finger” I said
“But you and Bryan are legally married” Mother replied.
“I can’t remember that! Am not married mother and I don’t know how I got married to the Bryan guy….. I can’t even remember seeing him ever” I said as tears circulated in my eyes.
“But why?” Mother said
Tears rolled down my cheeks as I held my bandaged head in pains.
“Ouch….. Ahhh….. Mother I can’t remember this and I don’t even have a slightest idea who he is” I cried bitterly.
Mother hugged me tightly as she patted my hair.
“Don’t force it my darling…. At the right time you will be able to recall everything OK” Mother said as I nodded my head.
” I hope so mother” I muttered in her arms.
I really need to remember everything…..
I can not even remember how I ended up in this hospital bed and why.
The only thing I remember is that I am a model and I live with my poor mother and three siblings.

I laid on the bed with my eyes fixed on the ceiling absentmindedly.
They already left and I have also warned the Bryan guy not to come anywhere close to my ward.
“Arianna!” I heard a shrieking scream and turned around sharply.
My worries disappeared as my face beamed with smiles.
“Gloria! Gloria!!” I jumped for joy as Gloria rushed to me in a warm embrace.
She was crying as she hugged me tightly.
“I’ve been expecting you” I said as she chuckled.
“Of course I will always come and you know it” She said as I held her hand.
Just then a strange man walked in with smiles.
I stared at him puzzled.
Who is he?
“Arianna am so happy you’re awake now” He said as I rolled my eyes.
“Gloria! Who is he?” I asked anxiously as Gloria looked at me puzzled.
“You don’t know him for real?” She asked me as I nodded.
“I really don’t… I can’t recall anybody” I said
“You don’t know me?” He asked in surprise.
“This is Marvin…… The guy who saved you at the ice cream shop that day” Gloria said as I held my head.
I only nodded my head though I don’t recall anything.
“What are you doing here?” A very loud bold voice screamed making us startled.
We all turned around….
It was Bryan!
He stared at Marvin in annoyance…..
